It is good to take coach/car from Zhengzhou (108km), Luoyang (118km) or Changzhi (101km) to Jincheng.

Huangcheng Premier’s Mansion

Huangcheng Premier’s Mansion has been honored the title of “the Famous Historical and Cultural Village in China”, as well as “Top Ten Great Scenic Spots in Shanxi Province”.

It is the former residence of Emperor Kangxi’s teacher and once premier Chen Tingjing. With the mixed architectural style, Huangcheng Premier’s Mansion has a unique appearance with elements from ancient dwellings, official mansions, ancestral temples, academies, and fortifications.

As one of the largest residential buildings built during the Ming and Qing Dynasties, it consists of an inner town and outer town. All the sites in the mansion are worth visiting.

Manghe Natural Reserve

Manghe Natural Reserve was established for the protection of macaques and subtropical vegetation. It is the only area with karst landscape scenery in the entire east China region. At Manghe you will surely be enchanted with nature.

Yuhuang Temple (Jade Emperor Temple)

In the past, people would come Yuhuang Mountain in order to pay their respect to Emperor Yuhuang, who was the Taoist ruler of entire existence including the heaven and the hell. Yuhuang Temple on the Yuhuang Mountain was a Taoist temple built in 1076 in the Northern Song Dynasty. More than 300 statues are housed at this temple, belonging to the Song, Jin, Yuan, Ming and Qing Dynasties. A visit here helps you understand more about Chinese Taoist history and art.
