A wonderful visit to a Fabled Land

I contracted a 5-day Solo tour of Beijing and Xian with China discovery (CD) from August 18 thru 24. In summary I was completly satisfied with this experience. From the moment I was met in the Beijing airport arrivals until I was returned to Beijing airport, the care I received from my CD guides would of made my mother happy. My guides, Linda in Beijing and Lilly in Xian were kind, patient and extremely knowledgeable of the historical and cultural aspects of their region. Each informed me of the history behind each treasure we toured, answered all of my questions and enlightened me to the significance of their impact on Chinese culture. It was unfortunate I had to leave each of them after just few days as they both had me feeling a friend and more than welcomed in places, I was totally unfamiliar with. The drivers quietly provided me with safe and efficient transportation and let’s not forget Silva , the Rookie guide who was good enough to meet me at the train station late Friday night to insure I was safely transported to my airport hotel and for the early morning departure. Thank you, Leo, my CD trip coordinator, I was extremely pleased with the trip you planned for me, the guides, hotel accomdations and transportation arranged. I will highly recommend you to my Family, friends and associates and hope for a return trip to see what further adventures in China Discovery might offer.
