We were a group of friends, 16 seniors from Hong Kong, US and Europe. Leo Li of China Discovery did a great job arranging the compact, customized tour of 8 days (3-10 Nov 2024) according to our requests. He was always fast and pleasant in responding to our questions and very helpful with suggestions. The unusual itinerary took us through stunningly beautiful landscape (mainly Karst landform with spectacular cliffs, caves and "hidden rivers"). Bella was a 5-star tour guide who spoke excellent English besides Putonghua and Cantonese. She was very attentive to our needs and managed some unforeseen difficult situations during the trip with resourcefulness and flexibility. The driver was very calm and skillful driving on some very adventurous roads through beautiful mountainous areas. We hiked in the Enshi Grand Canyon, toured part of the largest cave system in Asia on rafts and learned about the culture and history of the Tujia minority people. We walked on the longest "gallery bridge" of the world to the ancient town near Chongqing famous for its well preserved traditional Tujia houses on stilts. It was a short but fabulous trip. We enjoyed fantastic sceneries and learned about geology besides cultural history of the Tujia people. Great thanks to Leo and his team for making this possible. We certainly recommend China Discovery highly to perspective travelers to China.
