The Terracotta Warriors are located approximately 40 km to the northeast of Xi'an's center, near the Ancient City Wall. There are several transportation options available, including the subway, public bus, tourist bus, taxi, and private car services. The subway, however, only travels as far as Lintong County, approximately 10 km away from the Terracotta Warriors site. How to Get to Terracotta Warriors from Xian Xianyang International Airport

Terracotta Warriors is about 66 km from Xian Xianyang International Airport. You can transfer between these two places by airport shuttle bus, intercity bus, or taxi.

Option 1: Taxi (about 70min)

Taking a taxi to Terracotta Warriors is more time-saving and will cost about CNY 200. There are fixed taxi stands where you can find legal and licensed taxis at the Exit Arrival of T1, Exit 211 of T2, 1st floor of Ground Transportation Center (GTC) of T3.

Option 2: Metro + Tourist Bus (about 2.5hrs in total)

You can take Metro Line 14 connecting Xian Xianyang Airport and Xian North Railway Station to transfer to downtown first and then take direct shuttle bus to Terracotta Warriors from Xian North Railway Station.

Option 3: Airport Shuttle Bus + City Bus + Tourist Bus (about 3hrs in total)

Tourists can take Airport Shuttle Bus from Xian Xianyang International Airport Bus Station to Fengchengqilu Jingkaijincheng Hotel (凤城七路经开瑾程酒店) Bus Station first and then transfer to Bus 264 and get off at Xian North Railway Station. Then take the direct shuttle bus to Terracotta Warriors from Xian North Railway Station.
