Apologies for the late reply. Here is some feedback:

• Overall travel experience: really great! Our trip to China was one of the nicest trips we have done so far, with a good mixture of culture, nature and ethnic diversity.

• Preparation: efficient and timely communication re. changes we wanted to make to the itinerary. So a big thanks to you (and Catherine before covid) for helping us to schedule this trip! We also appreciated your help in cancelling the Tiger Leaping Gorge hike and to replace it with the Dali visit. Maybe one comment to consider: maybe it is better to recommend foreigners to avoid the Chinese school holidays from mid July to end August. Especially in the Forbidden City and Terracotta Warriors museum, it was overly crowded.

• Transportation: overall, we were pleased with the bullet trains and flight connections. We did have two last-minute changes: one was the later time of the flight from Xi'an to Lijiang (arrival in the hotel after 2am - originally scheduled much earlier) and the other one was the 11hr train from Lijiang to Guilin (originally scheduled as flight). But then again, I guess these were outside your control.

• Guides: we had good contact with all of them, despite the differences (some were better in English, others had a better history background). They also had good coordinating interaction with the drivers.

• Time allocation: we always felt that we had enough time and that it wasn't rushed. In Shanghai, we were a bit disappointed that the one day sightseeing in the largest city on our itinerary was so short (finished at 4pm), with limited explanations, especially in the French quarter. For the size of Shanghai, it felt that we could have gotten a bit more out of the itinerary.

• Food: there was a good diversity of meals for lunch. Although it was clearly mentioned in the itinerary, we were a bit surprised that lunches were not included during our days in Huangshan, whereas they were everywhere else

• Hotels: although we scheduled our own hotels, we largely followed the input from Catherine and yourself, with some changes based on internet reviews. We were very happy with all of them, with a good mix of location, comfort and design.

• Shops: the scheduled visits to local articraft stores were to the point and didn't feel like 'tourist traps'. There was only one exception: we visited a tea house in Beijing. The one we went to was not the one from the program, but suggested by our guide Jamie. In the end, we paid 1020 RMB for three small tea boxes and afterwards (when we realised the amount in Euro) felt ripped off. I would strongly recommend that this tea house is being avoided for future use (on the Visa bill, it mentions Tang Tea House, but not sure if it's the correct name).

• Tourist attractions: great mix of different things to see and do. We didn't feel like we missed out on anything. maybe consider some 'off the beaten track' recommendations? E.g. the M50 Art District in Shanghai would have been nice to go to, especially given the short day we had.

Overall, we would definitely highly recommend China Discoveries to our friends, plus would consider using China Discoveries for a future China trip. Tibet, Mongolia and Hong Kong (to only name a few) are places that we would like to visit in future.

Time flies we are now on our last day in China. A few guides who I would like to highlight as exceptional are Mei (Kashgar), Jessica (Huangshan), Alice (Dali) and Anna (Shangrila). They are knowledgeable, good command of English, always cheerful and helpful. and provide above and beyond expectations. Alice and Anna done very good in their approach. They would give a brief introduction of places we were going and then elaborate when arrived. This set our expectations and then understanding of the places. All drivers are fine but Mr Wang from Guilin sets a very high standard.

Of course not forgetting your exceptional service as well throughout our 1 month stay in China. We escaped typhoon twice in Shanghai!

Their Chinese and English discussions are clear, concise, and comprehensive on local traditions, customs, and landmarks. Their restaurant recommendations on local cuisines are delicious. We are very lucky to have such a delightfully accommodating team! We deeply appreciate your outstanding planning and itinerary, and we will return to visit China.

We found the business-class tickets very beneficial, and the BC Lounge were highly effective in making our travel smooth and worry free, e.g. we did not have to wait in line as the attendants escorted us to the train car directly.

Also, it would be helpful to recommend some travel related apps, i.e. WeChat, Alipay, GaoDe (map guide), Didi or other taxi. It was difficult for us to access American apps in China, such as Google, E-mails, etc. Hotel Wi-Fi were not reliable.

Wonder Wang was great to work with. All emails and questions were answered very quickly. We booked this a little bit late and provided a list of things that we would like to do and quickly got a detailed itinerary that covered everything we wanted to do. The itinerary was very detailed and we were well taken care of throughout the whole trip. During our trip we wanted to change something and this was done effortlessly. Five star service all the way!

Everything worked out great. All of our guides and drivers were extremely helpful and always on time and where they said they would be. The guides were local to the places we went so they provided us with a ton of information about everything we were seeing. The hotels were great, the trains were all great, we really enjoyed everything and it was easy thanks to the work of Wonder Wang.

I would 100% recommend this company. Everything was top notch and communication was smooth. We were never in doubt about anything to do with the trip. Again 5 stars!

We really enjoyed the tour! The hotels, food and planning were all excellent. We especially enjoyed the company of our guide, Louise. Her English and knowledge are outstanding, we had a lot of fun together, and she helped us a lot during our stay.

Just a small tip, it could be useful for other clients to mention that rain protection and other necessities for a hike can be easily bought on site for a modest price. And also that the hiking is over an easy, paved path with stairs.

All were interesting. Leshan Buddha was amazing. Sichuan opera awesome, my husband still trying to figure out how they changed masks. and panda were so cute.

After returning from our magnificent and wonderful China tour I would like to share our impressions with you. If you want you can use our comments as testimonial for you as well.

My wife and me took on March/April (at this time the different sites are not overcrowded and the climate is comfortable too) a 21-day private tour through China (mainly in the South) organised by Wonder, China Discovery. Wonder is an ideal travel consultant. He is highly competent, absolutely professional and flexible. Exept one also the local tour guides and drivers were very engaged and trusty. For travelling within China we used mainly the very efficient, very fast, comfortable and very punctual high speed trains. The selection of hotels (location and comfort) was also good. So, we were able to carry out our tour, which was quite ambitious and strict for our age (71 years), well. Only under these conditions you can have a pleasant tour through China. We can highly recommend China Discovery and personally Wonder. - Antal from Hungary, April 2024

Information just for you. The best English skills among the local tour guides had Derek (Hangzhou), Vicky (Dali), Bruce (Xian), Lobsang (Shangri-La) and Lisa (Luoyang). Jenny (Kunming area) was not really good. For example on the first day we could reach and see the sunset at the rice fields only because of our initiative and pressure. Otherwise we would have missed it. Attached I send you a few photos, which you can use if you want.

Finally I have a request to you. Would you please send me a China map with our travel route marked? (Beijing - Shanghai - Huangshan - Guilin/Yangshuo - Kunming - Stone Forest - Yuanyang/Hani rice terraces - Jianshui - Dali - Lijiang - Leaping Tiger Gorge - Lhasa - Luoyang - Beijing). It is a process. We planned this trip about a year ago. Originally was first May 2023 and we changed it to October 2023. There was quite a few changes and modification to the arrangements. The final plan took a long working process and it came out to what we wished!

Hi Rita,

I would like to thank you and your team for a wonderful time in China. Jeff and Jessica were great tour guides and provided us with enjoyable experiences. One recommendation would be to provide a little more information for the overnight experience when staying on the mountain. A brief explanation that a small backpack with a few items for the overnight would be helpful in preparing for the mountain.

The hotel accommodations were excellent and the drivers were professional and timely.

Shanghai: We met Jeff in the morning and planned to visit the Yu Garden but it was not open because of scheduled maintenance on Mondays. We were able to visit the Yuyan Bazar and the Jade Buddha Temple. Jeff assisted us in the purchase of an item at the bazar. Jeff treated us for drinks at Starbucks for compensation for not being able to visit the garden. Walking on Nanjing Road and the Bund was a great experience. In the evening Jeff took us for our evening river cruise and were amazed with the lights displayed on the buildings throughout the cruise.

Huangshan: Even though it rained most of our time on the mountain we were able to have spectacular views when the sun peeked through the clouds. The walking experience on the paths were phenomenal and provided stunning views. Jessica was fantastic as our guide throughout this portion of our trip. She checked in with us to ensure we had everything we needed and also helped us with questions about the hotel and dinner. She escorted us into the train station and ensured we were at the correct gate. She was absolutely lovely.

I would like to thank you for your input and guidance in preparing for an amazing experience in China.

Jack was understanding and patient throughout our email correspondence. For a first time traveller to China with visa requirements, Jack really assisted me promptly.

2. How do you comment on your tour arrangements?

The tour arrangements were good although when we were at Shanghai for our private transfer from Honqiao Railway Station to our hotel, the driver dropped us at the wrong hotel. In the end, we walked about 15 - 20 minutes to the correct hotel.

3. Are you willing to recommend our service to your people who also have an interest in visiting China?

Yes, I will recommend China Discovery to my family and friends. In fact, I will also be a return customer too.

4. Your general opinion on us?

I chanced upon China Discovery when doing research for my family trip and saw a lot of recent (2023 onwards) and good reviews on their services. As I was travelling with elderly people, one of them required wheelchair assistance, upon reading the good reviews I wrote to them without hesitation.

it was a wonderful trip and Jessica was a great guide. The rain was relentless and therefore we only go a glimpse of the true beautiful of Huangshan mountain but maybe that means we will have to go again another time. It really is a stunning place.The hotels were better than expected.

essica recommeded winter time, maybe November or March after the national holiday which I think is a definite possibility. We also want to fit in Beijing sometime but thankfully we avoided that the intense heat this weekend. I would much rather be in the mountains where it is cool than in the heat of the city. It was a wonderful trip and just what we needed. As always thank you and when I get a moment I will write a review for you. If you can send me the link that would be great. I hope this is the start of a busy summer for you guys and tourists from home and abroad flock to the many wonderful sights in China. Thank you!

Apologies for the delay in providing feedback.

The trip overall was great. I have no complaints. I only wished I had stayed at least one or two more days in Zhangjiajie. Two days was not enough.

Both tour guides were wonderful, knowledgeable and friendly. Very happy with their service. I was also very happy with the company’s flexibility with altering the schedule late and allowing my friend to join me with ease.

The hotels were all good. The one in Yangshuo was fantastic. I do wish the hotel in Zhangjiajie had coffee, though. There was no coffee in the room and what was available at breakfast, well, that really wasn’t coffee. That said, I think in the future (and I have said this to another tour company I have worked with), I would gladly trade these hotels in for a lower cost, more basic hotel to save some money. We spend so little time in the hotel and there are tons of local breakfast options elsewhere, including coffee. All the hotels seemed expensive and I suspect were a large portion of the overall tour price. It would be nice to have some options when booking the tour, especially a private tour such as this one.

Things are great! things are slower when traveling with a baby. lol but John and the driver are so understanding.

It's really great everything being private. especially because of the baby. and he has his own schedule and it doesn't always work with the tour schedule. it's nice that it's okay and we don't have to make other people wait for us or rush from one place to another. we went on the silk Road tour last summer. and it was great but such a strict schedule. and other people so we can't be late or take our time at certain places. we actually think we want to travel again in August before our holiday is over.

5. Keep searching out for more slightly off-beat tours. It’s helpful to try to avoid crowds; this is very difficult during Chinese holidays of course, but there is so much that is interesting that alternatives to some of the main sights can be probably be found at these times.

Huangshan: we loved the place but felt sad that this was not the right season for it.. So while booking you can just inform us on the same.. I had checked the weather before going, I knew it was raining but I thought it like shenyang rain.. Light.. Not that heavy.. So if possible just give an info on that to people..

Driver and vehicle: good

Guide: very good

Hangzhou: good place.

Driver: very rude. Not even accommodating a small requirement of stopping at a supermarket.

Shanghai and around: good

Driver: Kind and helpful.

Guides were supportive at all places.. Thank you!! But again a feedback for your company: Try being little flexible when you are doing a customized trip. Customized trip is not just booking hotels or car. Clients need more flexibility in terms of everything when we know we are paying more than just for the trip expense

It has been a very nice trip. Selina did a very nice job. Too bad the weather wasn't that good on the mountain, but it was very nice anyway.

Me and my Wife (both of us living in Shanghai) wanted to get away from the city during Christmas, but due to Covid-19, options was limited. After talking to Johnson on China discovery, we had booked a fantastic 10 days trip through the yellow mountains and Guilin.

Johnson was fantastic with helping us, both when we changed our minds on elements of the trip, and when we forgot our passport at home before leaving for the trip. Everything was well planned and we felt safe and taken care of the whole trip.

Especially our “local mountain guide” April was fantastic, even introducing us to friends and tea tasting on Christmas Eve!

We are already planning two more trips with China discovery!

Tour guide Selina was really great, she was enthusiastic and friendly. Very knowledgable about HuangShan. Car was spacious, but we had to change vans frequently.

Hotel was okay, a little small on the mountain, but overall not bad. Understandable that it’s small. It was a lot of hard work for the people to bring hotels things up to the mountain.

We would suggest to add 宏村 to schedules next time. We thought it was really nice.

We were lucky because weather is nice. Restaurants Selina brought us to were all good. A lot of stairs on the mountains, but great trip overall.

Yes, everything was taken care of promptly, and Johnson was very flexible to meet my needs as I looked to modify plans.   I appreciate the great job he did in making this a successful trip.

2.    How do you comment your tour arrangements?

Jingdezhen

-       Tour guide Peter was excellent, very enthusiastic and informative.  He also helped to get all of my train tickets for the trip which was very helpful.

-       Driver very good- no issues.

-       Hotel was very good- new , modern hotel, with good facilities and very good breakfast.  Location in the entertainment district was perfect for walking around at night.    Highly recommend to keep this one.

-       Tour arrangements were good.   Morning touring the kilns and the museum was nice to see.  The afternoon was perhaps a bit less organized without specific stops- would have been better to see specific galleries where shopping could be done, or going to the factory area downtown (which we eventually did because I asked to do so).

-       Lunch was very good- good to go to an authentic local place for food.

-       Transition to Huangshan was smooth , without issue.

Huangshan/Villages

-       Tour guide Xia (Jerry) was excellent, very strategic in his approach to ensure a great experience.

-       Driver was very good- no issues.

-       Huangshan International Hotel was ok- I would say average, could be better.   Location was good near the downtown.  Breakfast was not very good – pretty low quality.

-       Trip to Huangshan was well handled by Jerry, getting to the top of the mountain in reasonable time despite the crowds and he led me well around the mountain.  We covered what I wanted to see-  he encouraged us to see everything on day 1 with the weather getting worse – a very good call.

-       Xihai Hotel had very nice rooms and a nice bar area. The only downside is there is only a buffet for dinner and it is not very good, but guess we had little choice.  I did not eat breakfast there.

-       Trip to Hongcun and Bishan the next day was very good. We left Huangshan early as the mountain was fogged over. Hongcun was crazy busy due to holidays but we saw the main sights, and then I had some time to walk around.  I felt a little rushed with the schedule but still saw enough.  Lunch was ok, not great.  Bishan was very nice, with a chance to bike around the village areas and quiet. Xia guided me around the town on bike and then left me to bike on my own.

-       Accommodation in Bishan was excellent- Pig’s Inn is perfect, and these type of atmospheric farm stays are much preferred by me and would be for other travelers.   The dinner and breakfast were probably the best food I had on the trip, and having the Dog’s Bistro around the corner for drinks was an ideal setup. 

-       The next day was good as well.  As we were running ahead on the agenda, we added Nanping, which was a quiet beautiful village to walk around, and then we went to Xidi, which was really nice and large.   We spent a full morning in these two villages and then stopped for lunch outside Xidi.   Lunch was ok- better than the day before, but not exceptional.    Then we stopped in the Old Street in Huangshan to buy some Shaobing, and then we finished the day a little early at 230 pm.  I feel maybe we could have added one more thing to see, but this was fine.

Train trip to Zhangjiajie

-       No issues, very smooth transition in Changsha.  Driver moved me across the city efficiently.

Zhangjiajie

-       Tour guide Derrick was very good, he had a few moments where we was a bit pessimistic about the weather and crowds, but he managed the situation professionally and did a great job despite the bad weather. 

-       Our main driver was very good, he handled everything well.  The drivers we had for short pickups were less reliable- the one picking me up to go to Tianmen Mountain was late, and generally they were less friendly and reliable, requiring effort by Derrick to fix. 

-       Hotel (Santo Domingo) was below standard and I would strongly advise you to change to Crowne Plaza or Pullman which are much more appropriate hotels for international travelers.  The breakfast looked very questionable in quality so I went to Starbucks. 

-       The tour to the glass bridge was very good and I got to see everything, despite not great weather.  Then, we went to Zhangjiajie where weather was not great at the top but Derrick found good trails on the bottom where we could see some scenery.  We then went to late lunch/early dinner which was an excellent restaurant with very good food.

-       The next day at Avatar mountain was good for weather – Derrick timed the visit to be a bit later to ensure we would see something at the best part of the day.   We missed out the 3^rd viewpoint due to fog, but again, he found another trail for us to hike at the bottom.  Again we went to a late lunch/early dinner at a very good restaurant.   

-       The Best Western hotel in Zhangjiajie had good rooms but common areas and food were below standard.  My advice here would be for travelers to spend the night up in Wulingyuan at either Crowne or Pullman and then go into town the next morning early.

-       Tianmen Mountain was totally fogged over, so I got unlucky.  We did the trip anyway which was fine and I saw the glass bridge.  After seeing this, we stopped for a small lunch at a wonton stand (very good) and then we went to a lake for a quick visit.   Then we traveled to Fenghuang.   We checked into the hotel and then Derrick arranged a dinner at a local restaurant.     This food was not great to be honest, it was a bit low quality but this was the only miss.    I was able to walk around the town and enjoy the scenery.

-       The hostel I chose- Yunji Inn- was very nice with great views and comfortable beds and showers.  Just to note cleanliness in the corners was not great so some would be turned off by this, but I didn’t mind honestly.  

-       After a morning to myself , which I appreciated,  Derrick toured me around the town and then we headed back to ZJJ.   As we got back, Derrick chose a restaurant with a view of Tianmen from a distance, which was clearly visible- much appreciated as he was thinking of me, and the food was good.  Then he dropped me at the airport.

3.    Are you willing to recommend our service to your people who also have an interest to visit China?

  Yes, also for those within China

4.  Your general opinion on us?
Very professional, well organized and flexible.   This is the 2^nd trip I’ve taken with you and both were successful.

5.    Do you have any suggestions on improving our services?

-       Guides – keep them , they are great.

-       Itinerary-   looks good overall, you may be able to add more villages or sights to the Huangshan/villages tour as there is enough time in the schedule.   Beef up the Jingdezhen afternoon itinerary with clear visits to galleries for shopping. 

-       Transportation-  Drivers all good except for the short trip drivers in ZJJ,  train trips were well arranged.

-       Hotels-  As mentioned, smaller atmospheric stays like Pig’s Inn or Yunji Inn would be preferred.   I think you can offer two choices to visitors- either standard international hotel or rustic stays and they can decide.   In Wulingyuan,  switch to Pullman or Crowne Plaza and avoid Santo Domingo, and then consider to stay there before Tianmen as the Best Western is a little beat down.    Continue with the hotel in Jingdezhen, that was perfect.

6.    Can we use your comments of our service, the photos or other images that you took on the tour for our websites, brochures, marketing and publicity? If yes, could you please send us some of your photos by E-mail?

That's a great tour. For such short time, I can see both Huangshan and Zhangjiajie. The tour guide at both area is great, friendly and knowledgeable. Hotel is good. Only one thing that the meal included in our tour was not that great, a lot of vegetable but not enough meat. We love meat and most people live in US love to eat meat.

Next time you can have some suggestions that we stay one more day to explore a little bit of Shanghai even though we all have been travel to Shanghai. Every night we went back to shanghai so late. We only can go to the bund to take picture and then come back to sleep.

Lastly, we are very appreciate your arrangement, we can see what we want to see. Thanks a lot. I definitely will recommend you and your company to my family and friend.

Wendy was wonderful. She always replied quickly to our emails, answered all of our questions and was willing to make any arrangements we needed.

2.How was your tour? Are you satisfied with the tour we arranged for you?

The tour in the Huangshan mountains was wonderful. Our guide Zora was helpful checking into hotels. We were lucky to have great weather and the mountains didn't disappoint at all. Zora knew the tour very well and took us to many highlights of the mountains. Be prepared to climb MANY steps. The Xihai Hotel in the mountains was also perfectly adequate. We also visited Hongcun and Xidi, two ancient villages. And we had a tour on the Xin'an river. The first stop in the ice cave is not a highlight, but the other three stops were well visiting. The stop in Jiusha Village is particularly beautiful in the fall, when the harvest is displayed.

When not in the mountains we stayed at Huashan Huiyan Hotel. It is not a fancy hotel, but the location is right by the 900 year old Tunxi street. Perfect to spend an afternoon and evening. Zora, our guide, was helpful in pointing out some areas to visit.

3.Do you have any suggestions on improving our services?

It might have been nice to have a guide in the Tunxi street. We had so many questions. Zora was great answering them the next day, but it would have been nice to have her with us on our first visit. Otherwise, I couldn't think of any improvements. I would definitely use China Discovery again to arrange for future travels.

Huangshan Mountain and Village

The tour was very good. We enjoyed it a lot.

The guide, 王芳 is super. Very knowledgable, professional and caring. She went the extra miles to take care of me. She carried water for us, and even carried my bag for me in Huangshan. We toured Huangshan at my pace, so we were very comfortable.

She accompanied us in Tungxi to stroll the famous old street , pointed and explained to us interesting and famous shops, instead of letting us to stroll around on our own. We were most satisfied with her service.

Personally, I like Tungxi and Hongcun a lot. They are very peaceful , serene and beautiful.

I wish more tour guides are like her.

Tour arrangements were very pleasant. We were a little anxious about the trip beforehand as my wife was 14 weeks pregnant at the time. However, from the moment our guide met us, we felt completely relaxed and safe. The tour itself, of Huangshan, was very enjoyable. The scenery was incredible. We particularly enjoyed watching the sunrise from Lion Peak.

The guide was knowledgeable, friendly, and had impeccable English. She was also happy to help me improve my Mandarin by patiently chatting with me. The hotels were very good (considering the more rural location, especially with one being at the top of a mountain). The restaurants and food were very good.

We had a really wonderful trip - thank you for all of your arrangements. I really appreciate all of your efforts to accommodate our group’s many requests leading up to the tour.

The best single aspect during the tour was the quality of the guides in each city.  Each was excellent at flexibly accommodating our group’s requests, and in tailoring to the wide needs of our group, from my 74-year-old father down to my 11.5-month-old niece.

If I had to choose one detail of the tour to improve, it would be the hotel in Hangzhou, which compared relatively poorly to the great hotels in Beijing, Huangshan, and Suzhou in terms of room quality.  Even so, the breakfast at the Hangzhou hotel was excellent, as was the location.  

Overall, we had an extremely memorable trip, and are so happy that three generations could share such a wonderful experience together.  My parents have already recommended China Discovery to friends, and I will also be in touch again the next time we visit China and need guide services.

We got home 4 days ago, and I am still on such a high, this holiday in China was magnificent!

A big, big thank you to you for organizing such a wonderful trip. We experienced a little bit of everything, the old and the new, the lovely antique villages near Huangshan City, magnificent historical treasures like the Terracotta Warriors and the Great Wall, the futuristic Oriental Pearl Tower in Shanghai, the high speed train to Xian. The beautiful scenery at Huangshan Mountain, it was fairly cold - just the right weather to climb all those steps! I loved the vibrant Muslim area in Xian, and Wuzhen was wonderful - I got the indigo dyed fabric that I was looking for.

The boat cruise by Century Sun on the Yangtze River was so nice, the gorges are magnificent, and we stayed up after midnight to watch the ship going through the locks.  The personnel on the ship are very efficient, the cabin was comfortable and the shore excursions were very interesting. Guilin - just like the pictures you see - amazingly beautiful.

The guides are unbelievably good, always on time, always friendly and helpful, speaking really good English.  It amazed me how good their planning was, every day they took us to so many different places, and always managed to get us to the station/airport on time - even did the check-in too!  They made it so easy for us.  The drivers were equally good, patiently driving in the hectic traffic, never did we feel that a driver was taking risks.

I am already recommending you and your company to friends who are asking about our trip. You are very welcome to give my email address to other customers. 

We would love to visit China again, I know we have seen only a small part of China. And I shall definitely contact you straight away to organize it all.  Xie xie ni!

Here's what was great:

The food! Each province has such delicious local cuisine.

Huangshan, Mutianyu Great Wall, Jiuzhaigou, Yangtze River, Zhangjiajie, Li River and Longji Terraces were the highlights.

Momo, Shila, Waldner, and Alex were our favorite guides as all four had excellent English and great personalities. The 4 and 5 star hotels were nice and comfortable. The drivers/guides who would provide us with unlimited free bottles of water to drink each day.

Your helpfulness during the flight delays and cancellations was great appreciated. We'd certainly recommend your services to others.  Looking forward to reviewing the thousands of photos we took and reliving our memories.

Yesterday we saw the Big Buddha at Ling Yun Mt, the weather was perfect and no crowd. We did not go down the stairs to the foot of the Buddha cause it really is too high and steep. Later we went to the Ebony Museum, what an amazing & massive collection! In the evening we went to see a show, it was the 4th show we saw,  one in Shanghai, one in Huangshan, one in Yangshou, and the best one here on Sichuan. It was almost 10:30 pm my time we got back to the hotel.

And this morning we had to wake up early for our 8 o'clock journey to Mt.Emei. We climbed the steeped & very wet steps, it was a little hard today because it was so cloudy and cold and the air is so thin on top! We did not walk down the mountain, instead, we rode the Sedan Chair! What an experience! We loved it. Those guys are so strong and fast!! "
