Pandas in Wild Photos

There are altogether about 1864 giant pandas living in the wild. They are only found in the remote, mountainous regions of central China in Sichuan, Shaanxi and Gansu Provinces, according to the National Zoo. In this area, between 5000 and 10000 feet elevation, are cool, wet bamboo forests that giant panda’s call home.

Among all the panda bases in Sichuan Province, Wolong Shenshuping Panda Base is the only panda base at present to train pandas living in wild and after the training, some of the giant pandas could be sent back to wild living a different life - an original life belonging to them!
