4 Days Wuyuan Villages Tour with Fairyland Wangxian Valley Request

Full Itinerary Day by day

Day 1Wuyuan Arrival (L)

Welcome to Wuyuan – the most beautiful countryside in China! Upon arrival, be greeted by our local tour guide who is holding a sign with your name in the arrival hall of Wuyuan Railway Station. Then a comfortable vehicle (non-smoking) with an experienced driver will transfer you directly to your hotel in Wuyuan County. Your guide will help you check in. The rest of the day is on your own to discover this beautiful county.

Arrival ideas: Wuyuan is located in Shangrao City, Jiangxi Province. Currently, there is no airport in Wuyuan. But high-speed trains and normal trains are well offered at Wuyuan Railway Station for easy transfer from other cities such as Shanghai (about 3 hrs), Hangzhou (about 2 hrs), Jingdezhen (about 0.5 hrs), Huangshan (about 0.5 hrs), Nanjing (about 3.5 hrs), Beijing (about 7 hrs), Xi’an (about 8 hrs), etc.

Day 2 Wuyuan East Route (B, L)

Today after breakfast, our guide and driver will pick you up at your hotel, then drive to Jiangwan Village which is a national 5A level tourist attraction and an ancient village with a rich heritage of Huizhou culture. Later, get to Huangling Village perched on the edge of a mountain cliff. It is recommended to visit Huangling Village in spring or autumn. When spring approaches, Huangling Village will become immersed in a sea of rapeseed flowers (Mar. to Apr.), while autumn (Sept. to Nov.) is the best time to enjoy the colorful Shai Qiu scenery. Next, head to Likeng Village which is featured with its bridges over flowing streams and a tranquil atmosphere. Afterward, you can spend a wonderful night at Wunvzhou to appreciate the stunning light shows, firework shows, eye-catching molten iron throwing shows, or live-action performances. Have a nice sleep to prepare for the exploration of the next day!

Optional Visit: Xiaoqi Village is also a model village with well-preserved Qing Dynasty dwellings and alleys. Its ancient camphor over thousand years attracts lots of visitors. You can choose to visit Likeng Village or Xiaoqi Village according to your interest.

Day 3 Wuyuan North Route – Wangxian Valley (B, L)

After breakfast, you will visit Sixi Village and Yan Village which have a history of over 800 years. There now retain 136 ancient buildings of the Ming and Qing Dynasties which are mainly merchant houses and official residences. Paved with green stone slabs and surrounded by green fields, the villages are very suitable for a leisure walk.

Then proceed to Rainbow Bridge, the oldest lounge bridge in China which was built in the Southern Song Dynasty. It consists of six pavilions and five corridors with a total length of 140 meters. You will be amazed at its scientific design and beauty.

In the afternoon, drive about 2 hours to Wangxian Valley which is also situated at Shangrao, Jiangxi Province. Check in to your hotel in the ancient town. The rest time is free for you to relax and explore the amazing night view of the valley and town. As twilight descends upon Wangxian Valley, the canyon transforms into a celestial wonderland, illuminated by a constellation of lights that mirror the starry sky above.

Day 4 Wangxian Valley (B, L)

Today try to get up early to avoid the tourist crowds. After breakfast, you will go to enjoy both the natural landscape and cultural highlights of Wangxian Valley .

Reputed as a real-life version of a fantasy world, Wangxian Valley (Wangxiangu 望仙谷) used to be an abandoned mine site. It offers a profound journey through the harmonious trio of natural landscapes, human heritage, and legendary tales that transcend the ordinary. Here, it invites all who wander its paths to step into a story where every nook is a verse, every vista a painting, and every moment an ode to the enduring dance of nature, culture, and myth. The highlighting experience here is to walk up the cliffside plank roads to reach the top of the mountain, the White Crane Cliff to enjoy a panoramic view of the valley.

It's time to say goodbye to Wangxian Valley. You will be transferred to catch a high-speed train back to Shanghai to catch your flight/train to the next destination. You can also finish the tour at other locations, such as Shanghai high-speed railway station, Shanghai's railway stations or airport, or hotels in Shanghai. Please let us know in advance.

1. This price is for one person, based on a group of 2 adults sharing one standard double-bed room in local hotel and traveling with our private tour in low seasons.
2. This price is subject to change according your traveling season, group size, hotel class, change of activities in your itinerary and possible fluctuation of currency exchange rate. If you want a lower price, you can get more people to join you, or use economy class hotels.
3. This price is only valid to March 31, 2025.
4. Reference exchange rate of USD 1=RMB 7.00. The final quote is based on current exchange rate. It may change according to the currency fluctuation, while the RMB quotation will be remained the same.
