Paiyunlou Hotel Huangshan

Paiyunlou Hotel is located in Xihai Scenic Area and at the entrance of Xihai (West Sea) Grand Canyon, about 0.2km to Cloud Dispeling Pavilion and about 0.3km to Purple Cloud Peak.

Most travelers travel to Back Mountain of Yellow Mountain. They take a cable car from Yungu Temple and reach White Goose New Station first and then start trekking there. Usually, the direct trekking from White Goose New Station to Paiyunlou Hotel takes about 1 hour. However, there are many worth-seeing attractions along the trekking route, like Begin-to-believe Peak, Pen Flower Peak, Lion Peak, Stone Monkey Watching the Sea, etc. If you don't want to miss these highlights, the trekking may take about 2.5 hours totally.

It is also available start your journey from Front Mountain, but the trekking to Paiyunlou Hotel will be a much longer journey. If you take a cable car from Mercy Light Pavilion to Yuping Station, you need to spend about 8 hours on trekking to Paiyunlou Hotel with a visit to the surrounding attractions like Greeting-guests Pine, Hundred Ladders, Turtle Peak, Bight Summit, Flying-over Rock, etc.

Paiyunlou Hotel is equipped with various types of rooms, mainly including Standard Room, King Bed Room, Deluxe Standard Room, Three-bed Room and Six-bed Dorm Room. Except for Six-bed Dorm Room, each room has desk, wardrobe, heating, sofa, electronic scale, electric kettle and free WiFi. Independent bathroom with 24-hour hot water is available. Slipper, mirror, hair-dryer are also provided but you need to bring your own toiletries (no toothpaste and toothbrush in the room). Please note that elevators and air conditions are not equipped.

Business Services like meeting room, multi-function hall and multimedia are available. There is no air-condition and elevator in the hotel.

Purple Cloud Peak (丹霞峰): Purple Cloud Peak is a wonderful place for watching both sunrise and sunset. The summit of Purple Could Peak is only 200 meters away from Paiyunlou Hotel and you can get there within 20 minutes' trekking.

Cloud Dispelling Pavilion (排云亭): Cloud Dispelling Pavilion is one of the best place to see the odd-shaped rocks of Yellow Mountain. From the platform of Cloud Dispelling Pavilion, you can see two stone which shapes like a pair of inverted boots – this attraction called Fairy Drying the Boots. In good days, you could enjoy the changeable sea of clouds here.

Xihai (West Sea) Grand Canyon (西海大峡谷): West Sea Grand Canyon is one of the highlights of Huangshan Scenic Area. It is rather popular among tourists and outdoor adventurers for its deep canyons, towering cliffs and spreading ravines. Hiking from the Paiyunlou Hotel to the bottom of West Sea Grand Canyon, you could immerse the natural beauty of Yellow Mountain.

Flying-over Peak (飞来石): Flying-over Peak is a rock standing in a flat and the contact surface between them is very small. It seems that the rock flew there so people called it Flying-over Peak. In fact, this wonder was formed due to long time geological changes.
