Indoor Ice and Snow Theme Park

The Ice and Snow World is only opened during the Ice and Snow Festival. If you plan to visit Harbin in other seasons, such as Summer and Autumn, you can take the indoor Ice and Snow Paradise as a substitution. Occupying an area of 6,000 square meters, the indoor Ice and Snow Paradise is newly built in the scenic area of the Ice and Snow World. It can be visited all the year around. Even in summer, the temperature in the Ice and Snow Paradise keeps about -8℃ ~ -5℃. Despite much smaller the Ice and Snow World, it offers magnificent ice and snow sculptures, colorful lanterns, exquisite ice artworks, cultural activities and winter sports as well.

In every year, one different theme will be set in Harbin Ice and Snow World. According to the theme, different buildings will be constructed.  In 2020, Harbin Ice and Snow World officially opened for the 21th consecutive year. In this year, Harbin Ice and Snow World was themed with “Ice and Snow Fusion with Joy”.. As the result, this time the park showed the classic ice and snow sculptures in the previous years, showing Harbin’s rapid development in the past years. It also cooperated with Tencent, one of the China’s BAT(Baidu, Alibaba & Tencent), to build the part of “Arena of Valor”, a hot game of Tencent. This shows the youth and vigor of this city.

Winter is the best time to visit Harbin Ice and Snow World. Harbin Ice and Snow World often opens during Winter of Harbin. It is not sure about when it will reopen in next winter. In 2019, Harbin Ice and Snow World usually opens from the 23th, December of the last year to 17th, February. In 23th, December, it opens at 16:00~21:30, and it opens at 11:00~21:30 from 24th, December to 17th, February. You can contact us about the exact time of its opening at the next time. 1. Keep yourself warm while touring in Harbin. you don’t need to wear too many in indoors. However, when you go out for outdoor activities, you have to wear more to prevent yourself from getting cold. Just wear as warm as you can, and wear multiple layers, so you can take them off when heat up.

2. The old older than 70 years’ old should be escorted by family member.

3. When you have some outdoor activities, keep your camera, telephone and other electronic equipment warm to work with battery. You can also take several batteries to keep your camera working.
