Shanghai Pudong International Airport is about 30km from city center area of Shanghai. Maglev, shuttle bus, taxi and subway line 2 to/from downtown are available there. It has 2 main passenger terminals: Terminal 1 (T1) and Terminal 2 (T2). Both the two terminals operate flights to Harbin, while T1 has more flights. Harbin Taiping International Airport (IATA: HRB)
Address: Yingbinyi Road, Daoli District, Harbin (哈尔滨市道里区迎宾一路,哈尔滨太平国际机场)
Harbin Taiping Airport is the mostly frequently used airport in northeastern area of China. The airport is settled about 41 km (25 miles) northwest of Harbin City. It can be reached by taxi and airport shuttle bus. There are altogether 7 airport shuttle bus lines for you choose, and the ticket price of all the lines is CNY 20 per person. The flights from/to Shanghai will stops/starts at the Terminal 2 of the airport.

Shanghai to Harbin Train - Alternative Option
Alternatively, taking the train is an alternative option for the people who prefer trains than flights. At present, there is one G-train and one Z-train running between Shanghai and Harbin every day. The Z-train is not really recommended, because the train journey needs about 24 hours. The traveling time of the G-train is about 12.5 hours. It departs from Shanghai Hongqiao Railway Station at 9:39, and arrives at Harbin West Railway Station at 21:55. Shanghai Hongqiao Railway Station
Address: No. 1500, Mingui Road, Minhang District. (上海市闵行区申贵路1500号,上海虹桥火车站)
Shanghai Hongqiao Railway Station is the most important high speed railway station in Shanghai. You can take taxis, shuttle buses and also metro Line 10 and Line 2 to the railway station from downtown area. Harbin West Railway Station
Address: No 501, Harbin Road, Nangang District, Harbin (哈尔滨市南岗区哈尔滨大街501号,哈尔滨西站)
Harbin West Railway Station is one of the three major railway stations in Harbin. It is only about 11km away from Harbin Ice & Snow World and Zhongyang Pedestrian Street. It can be reached by taxi, bus and Harbin metro line 3.
