Guangzhou is located about 136km northwest of Hong Kong. To travel from Hong Kong to Guangzhou, there are 7 options for you to choose - high speed train (1 hour around), through train (2 hours around), flight (about 1-1.5 hours), ferry (1 - 2.5 hours), bus (3-5 hours), private car (1-2 hours) or making a travel via Shenzhen (from 3 hours).

Hong Kong to Harbin Bullet Train via Beijing
If you prefer high speed trains than flight, you could make a transit at Beijing. The bullet train from Hong Kong to Beijing needs only 9 hours around. And bullet trains from Beijing to Harbin take about 7 hours around. The whole train travel journey needs only about 16 hours. However, you couldn’t catch the two trains in one day as the train from Beijing to Harbin is gone when you arrive at Beijing from Hong Kong.
