You could take the high speed train from Guiyang to Tongren. There are 4 daily G-trains from Guiyang North Railway Station to Tongren Railway Station (About 1 h 40 mins ~ 1 h 50 mins), and 23 daily G-trains to Tongren South Railway Station (About 1 h 10 mins ~ 1 h 30 mins). Meanwhile, there are 6 daily G-trains from Guiyang East Railway Station to Tongren South Railway Station (About 1 h 5 mins ~ 1 h 25 mins).

Guiyang North Railway Station (贵阳北站)

Transfer from Tongren South/Tongren Railway Station to Fanjingshan

After arriving at Tongren Railway Station or Tongren South Railway Station, you could take the direct bus/taxi to Fanjingshan Tourist Center. Otherwise you could also transfer to Jiangkou County and then go to Fanjingshan Tourist Center. The distance between Tongren Railway Station and Fanjingshan Tourist Center is about 78 km by car (About 1 h 20 mins' driving). Duration: About 4 Hrs

There are direct buses to any famous tourist attractions of Guizhou Province, which depart from the Parking Lot at the North Gate of Guizhou Provincial Gymnasium. You could take the direct bus from here to Fanjingshan Tourist Center, and there is only one daily direct bus to Fanjingshan Tourist Center. The time needed for a single way is about 4 hrs and the single way ticket is about ¥395. This bus will be back at the same day from Fanjingshan Tourist Center at about 17:00.

Generally, travellers will take 2~4 days to travel in and around Guiyang. They will visit Jiaxiu Tower, the landmark of Guiyang, and visit the Qianling Park, a natural city park in Guiyang to join the locals. They may also make a wish at the Hong Fu Temple inside. On the second day, they will visit Qingyan Ancient Town, one of the four famous ancient towns of Guizhou. Later, they will visit the nearby Huaxi Scenic Resort to tour the Flower Stream Park and the Tianhe Pool and more spots. On the following days, they will visit the largest waterfall in Asia - Huangguoshu Waterfall, Tunbao Village in Tianlong, Tiantai Mountain, etc.

They will appreciate the thumb-like peak - Red Cloud Golden Summit, landmark of Fanjingshan - Mushroom Stone, the highest scenic site of Fanjingshan - Old Golden Summit, and Cheng En Temple which is located between the two summits with scarlet walls and black tiles.
