Yangshuo to Longsheng (Longji Rice Terraces) & Longsheng to Yangshuo Transfer Guide 2024

Yangshuo and Longji Rice Terraces are two hot tourist destinations in Guilin. Yangshuo is located about 80km (50 miles)’s driving distance southeast of Guilin. Longji Rice Terraces is located in Longsheng County, about 80km north of Guilin. The driving distance between Yangshuo and Longji Rice Terraces is about 145km.

Longji Rice Terraces, which is also called Longsheng Rice Terraces, is a large scenic area. It consists of three separate parts with a same entrance - Ping’an Rice Terraces, Jinkeng Rice Terraces and Longji Ancient Zhuang Rice Terraces (Longji Ancient Zhuang Village). All the tourist buses, coaches and private cars can only get to the parking lot of each scenic area. The distance from the entrance to Longji Ancient Zhuang Village Parking Lot is about 9km (about 25 minutes' driving), about 17km (about 40 minutes' driving) to Ping'an Parking Lot and about 23km (about 1-1.5 hours' driving) to Jinkeng Dazhai Parking Lot.

Since it takes long time (4~5hrs) to transfer between Yangshuo and Longji, and Guilin is conveniently located at the middle of Yangshuo and Longji, travelers are suggested to make transfer at Guilin to shorten the long driving. In order to get from Yangshuo to Longsheng, you can take the direct coach or travel back to Guilin first and get from Guilin to Longji.

How to Get from Yangshuo to Longsheng Rice Terraces

In order to get from Yangshuo to Longsheng, you can take the direct coach or travel back to Guilin first and get from Guilin to Longji.

1. Direct Coach from Yangshuo to Longsheng Rice Terraces

How to Get from Longsheng to Yangshuo

There are about two ways available traveling from Longsheng to Yangshuo, one is taking the direct coach at the Dazhai Parking Lot in Jinkeng, the other is back to Guilin and travel from Guilin to Yangshuo.

1. Direct Coach from Longsheng Rice Terraces to Yangshuo

In the whole Longji area, Jinkeng Dazhai Parking Lot enjoys the only direct coach traveling between Yangshuo and Longji. Usually, there are only about 1-2 coaches a day. The coaches travel from Dazhai Parking Lot in Jinkeng and arrive at Yangshuo Pantao Road Biliandong Tourist Parking Lot near the Yangshuo Park.

2. From Longsheng Rice Terraces to Yangshuo via Guilin

Compared with the long distance travel from Longsheng to Yangshuo by taking the direct coaches, you are more suggested to get to Guilin for a night and visit Yangshuo in the next morning. Guilin Bus Stations

There are two bus stations mainly used in Guilin, including Qintan Bus Terminal and Guilin South passenger Station. Qintan Bus Station is located at No.31, Xiangshan District, Guilin (桂林市象山区翠竹路31号 - 琴潭汽车客运站) in downtown area, which needs about 10-15 minutes to drive about 4km to Elephant Trunk Hill. The Guilin South Passenger Station is situated on Chadian Road, Xiangshan District in Guilin (桂林市象山区茶店路 - 桂林汽车客运南站), which is a little far and needs about 0.5 hour to drive with a distance of about 10-12km from city center.

Yangshuo Bus Stations

Yangshuo Bus Station (Yangshuo South Bus Station) and Yangshuo Pantao Road Biliandong Tourist Parking Lot may be used for your Yangshuo Longji trip. Yangshuo Bus Terminal, which is also known as Yangshuo South Bus Station, lies at #6, No.155, Hangzhan Road, Yangshuo, Guilin(桂林市阳朔县抗战路155-6号 - 阳朔汽车总站). This station is within the county downtown region, so you can get around very easily. And usually, it needs only about 10 minutes to arrive at the West Street by car; Yangshuo Pantao Road Biliandong Tourist Parking Lot is situated at Bilian Alley, Yangshuo, Guilin (桂林市阳朔县碧莲巷 -阳朔蟠桃路碧莲洞旅游停车场), about 1 km away from the West Street.

Hello I am at yangshou at the moment and need to go to longji within this day. My question is do how do i get to a bus from yangshou to longji(or any nearby bus station) today. Can i have the schedule of the buses. Thank you so much

Thanks for your question! Today, there is only one bus left from Yangshuo to Longji. The bus will depart from Yangshuo Tourist Parking Lot to Longji Jinkeng Rice Terraces at 13:00 this afternoon. The whole journey takes about 4-6 hours.
However, the ticket of the bus is limited. We have no idea whether the bus tickets have been sold out or not, so you are suggested to ask the staff of your booked hotel in Yangshuo for help.
