No.1 Yulong River

Yulong River is the longest tributary of the Li River in Yangshuo. It is recommended to go there in April and May for the abundant rainfalls and comfortable temperature enrich the river water and moisturize the plants to grow. There are four different ways to visit Yulong River: Hiking, cycling, bamboo rafting and bus sightseeing. The most recommended way is biking along Yulong River. Ten-Mile Gallery is an scenic area located to Yulong river, which includes the Moon Hill and the Big Banyan Tree. Not being a real gallery, for its beautiful scenery and picturesque views along miles of country road present itself as if nature's artworks , thus it is called Ten-Mile Gallery. In early spring, the rapeseed flower fields along the road are very impressive. It is an ideal attraction to get to touch the incredible idyllic scenery in outdoor activities. The best way to visit is to ride a bike. Many platforms and pavilions are set up for visitors to rest.

If you have enough time, you can try the bamboo rafting with cycling, drifting to the Gongnong Bridge, and then riding back from there.

No.3 Moon Hill

Moon Hill is a wonderful sight in Yangshuo, located at the end of the Ten-Mile Gallery. It is an arch-shaped peak, and the missing part under the arch looks exactly like a moon.

Since the karst formation, on the top of the "moon" is various stalactites in different shapes. Seen from different perspectives in certain distances, the shape of "moon" constantly changes from the cycle from wax to wane. Standing around a restaurant-gathered area near Moon Hill may help get the best sightseeing spot.

Because of its unique geological formation, the moon hill is also known as the gathering place of rock climbing enthusiasts. The solid stone basis and the barely reachable arch challenge different rock climbing communities to come year after year.

No.4 Xianggong Mountain

Xianggong Mountain is located on the west bank of the Li River in Xingping Town, about 28 kilometers away from Yangshuo. Upon the Xianggong Mountain, multiple peaks orderly lay out in a spectacular way, with Li River flowing and embraced by the mountains. Many photographers will choose to hike up in advance, waiting for sunrise, and the viewpoint was incredible. With multiple platforms, it wasn't difficult to get a good shot. Watching the light come through the hills and hit the river below will be one of the most hypnotizing views you have never imagined.

No.5 West Street

Location: East Side of Li River, Yangshuo County

Enduring more than 1400 years, West Street is the oldest and busiest street in Yangshuo, and one of the most important tourist attractions. It is a street packed with restaurants, stores, and bars. Because of its variety in different cultures, it has become an unique mixed-culture street in Yangshuo.

The street is less than 1 km, and made of stone slabs in a curved S shape. The houses on both sides are simple and elegant, with the style of the Ming and Qing dynasties in northern Guangxi. Various souvenir shops occupy the street. Almost all the signs are in English and Chinese. Some waiters can serve tourists fluently in both languages. With a lot of bars here, the nightscape at West Street is even more lively than the day.

No.6 Xing Ping Ancient Town

Located on the east bank of Li River where the Lijiang River turns around and flows, it is the sight where the scenery has been printed on China's 20 yuan cash.

After the Li River cruise, you can come here and stop by. Compared with the bustling West Street, the ancient and simple architecture of Xingping is more quaint and relaxing.

There are eight scenic spots. The former US President Clinton has visited Xingping which also made it more famous and aroused many tourists to come.

No.7 Silver Cave

Sliver Cave is a typical karst landform, which runs through 12 peaks and contains stalactites glowing like sliver in different geological ages, thus that is how it was named. It takes around 2 hours to truly enjoy the beauty of it. The mirror-like underground river reflects various stalactites symmetrically, and stone pillars stand still, unfolding an unfathomable and mysterious fairyland.

The scenic spot is like a huge natural bonsai, surrounded by mountains, with peach forests scattered around, Flowers are blooming in all seasons, with lakes and mountains, and the idyllic scenery makes the tourists enchanted.
