Beijing Guilin Airports
Beijing Capital International Airport (北京首都国际机场, IATA:PEK)

Beijing Capital International Airport is almost the busiest airport in Asia, located in the northeast of Beijing, 32km to the city center. Inside there are 3 terminals with bus lines bounding for the downtown area day and night. Terminal 1 and Terminal 2 are right close to each other and near the airport highway, while to the south of the two terminals is the isolated but newest terminal 3 where you can take Airport Express and then transfer to Metro Line 2 at Dongzhimen Stop heading to the city center. Guilin Liangjiang International Airport (桂林两江国际机场, IATA:KWL)
Address: Liangjiang, Lingui District, Guilin, Guangxi 桂林市临桂区两江镇
Guilin Liangjiang International Airport is the only airport serving passengers in Guilin. It is located in the southwest suburb of Guilin, Liangjiang, about 28 km to the city center (1hour, by car). There is no subway running in Guilin, but you don’t need to worry about getting a vehicle to your hotel, since the buses to downtown Guilin are arranged by the flight schedules. Cheap Flight from Beijing to Guilin
Since between April and October is the busy season for the scenic areas both in Beijing and Guilin, the flight ticket price will also go up higher in the busy months, while from November till March is usually off-season. Therefore, you may be able to purchase cheap flight tickets during that time, and the full price for economy class will be around CNY 1900.

Beijing Guilin Bullet Train
There are about 2 bullet trains running between Beijing and Guilin. The serving stations are Beijing West Railway Station and Guilin North Railway Station, and both are not far from the city centers. Due to the long distance, the high speed bullet trains still need at least 8.5 to 10 hours to complete one ride. Although it takes much longer than the flight, there are a lot to expect on your way with the much comfortable train facilities the bullet train provided.

It is about 25mins’ driving (10km) to Li River Cruise Ticket Office , 30mins’ driving (10 km) to Guilin Railway Station, 40 mins’ driving (35km) to Guilin Liangjiang International Airport. Beijing Guilin Normal Train
There are about 4 overnight trains running from Beijing to Guilin/ Guilin to Beijing. Although the normal train ticket is comparatively cheaper than the bullet train’s, the minimum duration is still more than 19 hours and some are even more than 28 hours. Considering about your comfortableness and travelling security, Beijing Guilin normal train is not very recommendable.
