How to Go to Shenzhen from Macau

From - to: Taipa Ferry Terminal (澳门氹仔客运码头/北安码头) / Outer Harbour Ferry Terminal (澳门外港客运码头/港澳码头) to Shekou Ferry Terminal (深圳蛇口港) / Fuyong Ferry Terminal (深圳福永港)

Duration: About 70 minutes

This way is the most regular transportation from Macau to Shenzhen. You can take the ferry at Taipa Ferry Terminal or Outer Harbour Ferry Terminal to travel from Macau to Shenzhen. In work days, there are 7 ferries (8 ferries during weekends and holidays) from Taipa Ferry Terminal to Shekou Ferry Terminal, and 4 ferries to Fuyong Ferry Terminal. Outer Harbour Ferry Terminal has 12 ferries (13 ferries in weekends and holidays) to Shekou Ferry Terminal and 4 ferries to Fuyong Ferry Terminal during work days.

You could also travel from Macau to Shenzhen by experiencing China’s high speed railway. Firstly, you can take bus to Gongbei Port of Entry for your Entry Procedures. The distance between Gongbei Port and Zhuhai Station is about 500m, so you can walk to Zhunhai Station after entering the port.

There are only 2 direct high speed trains running from Zhuhai Railway Station to Shenzhen North Railway Station every day, with duration within 2 hours. The single way ticket is ¥117~¥507/person. Most people prefer to this kind of direct train.

From - to: The 2nd floor of Outer Harbour Ferry Terminal to Shenzhen Bao'an International Airport (深圳宝安国际机场)

Duration: 15 minutes

By air from Macau to Shenzhen is the fastest way among all of these transportation, by which you just need 15 minutes to arrive at Shenzhen. It is ¥5660 for per ticket which is very expensive. Therefore, it is not advised to choose this way. There are 3 helicopters everyday from the 2nd floor of Outer Harbour Ferry Terminal to Shenzhen Bao'an International Airport. The departure time are 13:00, 17:30 and 20:00. When you arrive at the Shenzhen Bao'an International Airport, you can take metro line 11 to downtown area.

Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macau Bridge, with the length of 55km, is the world’s longest cross-sea bridge. Built from 2009 to 2018, it is one of the world’s wonder of bridge engineering. This bridge connects Hongkong, Zhuhai and Macau, with which local people could transfer between these places more convenient than ever. Since it was put into use in late 2018, this bridge has attracted many tourists. Nowadays, there are shuttle buses on the bridge. Meanwhile, private car (has to apply for quota) can also pass the bridge.

You could firstly travel from Macau to Hong Kong via this bridge and then transfer to Shenzhen. However, if you just take coach, then you need to transfer for many times which would be a tiring journey.
