Elie and Marie visited Kunming West Hill in October 2019, tour customized by Wonder
Our intention was to have a Chinese travel agency organize a "private tour" for the two of us in order to discover China in a relaxed way (no mad rushing from one place to the next one). After consulting a number of Web sites, we sent a mail to China Discovery stating our requirements about one year before our expected departure date… Check More China Travel Photos and detailed Travel Blog of Elie and Marie >>
2. Best China Solo Trip: Travel Alone - 12-Day Tibet Adventure to Meet the Everest
Anthony enjoyed Drak Yerpa Monastery hiking experience in December 2019, tour customized by Wing
After a long, long, long train ride, I made it to Lhasa. It was worth it for the brain, organs and whole body to get used to the thinner oxygen at higher altitudes perfectly. Not as cold as I thought it would be. Not all lakes and rivers are frozen. And lower mountains have no snow. Means Everest mountain's heavenly treasures above the clouds are still open… Check More China Travel Photos and detailed Travel Blog of Anthony >>

Lawson's Family with Catherine at Sichuan Cuisine Museum in October 2018, tour customized by Catherine
Tom and I adopted two daughters from China in 2002 and 2004, and we returned to China in 2018 using Catherine's services at China Discovery. Our requests were non-standard as are most adoptive parents requests when they return to China as we don't want to select the off-the -shelf travel options and need something bespoke and designed to meet our special needs… Check More China Travel Photos and Detailed Travel Blog of Lawson's Family >>

I'm an American based teacher with a Chinese online edu-tech company. We knew we'd have a sizable group traveling with us, and we had no idea where to start. Enter China Discovery. 6. Best Panda Volunteer Trip: Aura Travel - Bamboo & Panda Meet
Rachel took part in Panda Volunteer Program, tour tailormade by Louis
The giant panda is a "living fossil" and probably represents the most powerful symbol when it comes to species conservation. With a population of around 2000, the distinctive black and white animal that has retained the same form over millions of years, is a national treasure in China and one of the rarest, most endangered bears in the world. A one-on-one encounter with a giant panda is a bucket list highlight and a must-do when you are in China. During a recent trip to Shanghai, I grabbed my backpack and took a weekend detour to Chengdu to learn all about pandas... Check More China Travel Photos and Detailed Travel Blog of Rachel >>

8. Returning Hometown Trip of Adoptive Family for Regaining Confidence of Their Ethnic Dong Girl
Mr. & Mrs. Lawson's Meaningful 19 Days China Trip for Adopted Chinese Daughters, tour tailormade by Catherine
"Fallen leaved return the roots" is almost the must-do thing in one's life. And root seeking is one of the most important wish for a person living in another place or country. I think nearly everyone want to know where he/she was born and how beautiful his/her hometown is, how friendly the fellow townsmen are, etc.
Apart from Mr. and Mrs. Lawson, there are still many adoptive families in the UK and more countries. They adopt the orphans or kids from poor family without economic capability to bring them up, educate them for more than ten or twenty years into a teenager and adult, and wish to take them back to their born place to know more about the real hometown of whom living so many years ago overseas… Check More China Travel Photos and Detailed Travel Blog of Mr. & Mrs. Lawson >>
9. Memorable Fabulous Xinjiang Photography Trip
Mr. Florian's 9 Days Xinjiang Photography Travel with His Friend in 2020
I know all of us have suffered a lot from the pandemic period of COVID-19 this year. But if winter comes, can spring be far behind? So many places have been paused for different length of months and people all want to walk outside to breathe the fresh air, enjoy pleasant natural views, say hello to friends, relatives and even anyone unknown but experienced it with us too and get more hope of a new start of life.
Yes, hope has come! Cities and provinces in China were restarted and opened gradually to bring people's vibrant and wonderful life back. Also, Xinjiang, after about 9 months' quarantine, has also been reopened in September in 2020. And at just at the beginning of that month, I received the Email from Mr. Florian which said that he and his friend were going to visit Xinjiang for a photography trip in early October since they were all photography lovers! I was really excited and inspired about helping them plan a Xinjiang photo tour at the hopeful time. After many communication through Email and WeChat, I have got more about the needs, interests, requirements, and time schedule about their coming trip and finally planned a 9 day Xinjiang Photography Trip including Urumqi, The Ghost City, Urho, Hemu, Kanas Lake, Burqin, Fuyun and Turpan for their exciting enjoyment of nature and shooting! 10. Family's China Trip to Achieve Elder Father's Root Seeking Dream
Family's China Trip to Achieve Elder Father's Root Seeking Dream
My father was born in Chengwu County in the 1930's, so I am not sure if his village is still there - I am trying to get more information to see if we can find it. We would really like to spend a few days in Shandong to see the place of our roots.
A trip may not only for sightseeing to release pressure, or learning culture and history to enrich yourself. A trip may be for an important goal to achieve one's wishes. And this trip for Cindy from the USA is to help her nearly 80-year-old father find his birthplace in a small village in Shandong Province, after his leave for more than 40 years from China to the opposite side of earth.
