Day 1 Chongqing

Welcome to the magical 8-Dimensional Chongqing! This morning, your local guide and driver will meet you at your hotel or the arrival hall of Chongqing airport / train station for your exciting exploration of the Mountain City! First, go to Three Gorges Museum. The vast collection of over 280,000 pieces of precious historical relics gives an amazing introduction of the great Yangtze River and formation of the magnificent Three Gorges and tells the thriving of Chongqing from 3,000 years ago, to its war defense in 20th century, and to nowadays as one of the four prosperous municipalities in China. Step out from the museum and appreciate the People’s Assembly Hall, which is popular with fancy classical exterior design and was listed into the History of Architecture compiled in London in 1987!

Then, go to experience Chongqing Light Rail Line 2 from Huanghuayuan to Liziba Station (15 minutes’ riding) with the beautiful cityscape of streets, bridges, flyovers, and Jialing River. Get off at Liziba to watch the unbelievable view of a train traveling through a 19-floor building, a successful demonstration of Chongqing’s urban design. Then, go up to the open-air WFC Huixianlou Observation Deck of 339 meters high to appreciate the spectacular 360° Chongqing cityscape! Finally, visit Chongqing’s landmark - Hongya Cave where 11 layers of traditional wood tilted houses overlapping against the mountain to create an antique flavor. (Note: Hongya Cave night view is usually available after 19:30 in summer and 18:30 in winter, so if you want to enjoy the nightscape, please discuss with your travel expert or tour guide to adjust the itinerary.)

After the visit, your guide and drive will send you to your hotel in Chongqing downtown. Have a great rest! (You can decide whether to enjoy dinner at Hongya Cave or directly be escorted to your hotel.)

Day 2 Chongqing - Wulong Furong Cave (B, L)

After breakfast, be transferred to Wulong County (2.5-3 hours' drive) for a nature escape to Wulong Karst Geopark, a UNESCO World Natural Heritage Site since 2007.

Today's highlight is Furong Cave, “the underground artistic palace and a cavern scientific museum” and world’s unique karst cave to hold World Heritage status. Kickstart your journey with a breathtaking 10-minute cable car ride, which rewards panoramic views of the emerald Wujiang River snaking through the hills. Next, Venture inside the colossal 2,700-meter-long limestone cave created by nature for over 1.2 million years ago. You’ll be awed by more than 70 rare stalactite's formation types, resembling waterfalls, pillars, arrows, palace, pagodas, and so forth, illuminated by colorful lights or in their natural state.

After the visit, your guide and driver will escort you to the hotel at Xiannv Town (70 minutes' drive) and help you check in. Have a sweet sleep!

Optional Activities (extra payment): Watch “Impression Wulong” night show with real landscape background of Wulong and folk culture charm of Sichuan & Chongqing regions. It is directed by Zhang Yimou, a world-class movie director and the chief director of the opening and closing ceremonies of both Olympic Games 2008 and Winter Olympics 2022 in Beijing.

Day 3 Wulong Karst Geology Park - Chongqing (B)

After breakfast, your guide and driver will pick you up at your hotel and be transferred to continue you exploration of Wulong Karst landscape.

First, hop on a sightseeing bus from Wulong Xiannvshan Tourist Center to Three Natural Bridges. It is the Asia's largest natural bridge cluster and the shooting location of the globally famous movie “Transformers IV”, where to appreciate exceptionally high natural bridges with long stretches of deep unroofed caves. Take the sightseeing elevator down to the valley bottom to marvel at the magnificent Karst mountains, miraculous caves, beautiful waterfalls. Enjoy your hiking passing Tianlong Bridge, Tianfu Post Office, Qinglong Bridge and Heilong Bridge.

Then, take a sightseeing bus to Longshuixia Gap, a gap-style gorge stretching 200~500 meters deep and reputed as the "most beautiful scar of the earth". In this natural oxygen bar, enjoy 2 kilometers’ fun walking by One Line Sky, Dragon Pool Minoring the Moon, etc. and witness the steep cliffs on both sides, verdant original forests in the valley and mysterious waterfalls.

After the visit, be transferred back to Chongqing downtown. Tour ends!

Notice: The expected time of arrival in Chongqing is after 18:00 PM. If you plan to leave Chongqing that day, it is suggested book a flight or train after 20:00 PM. Our recommendation is to spend one extra night in Chongqing and depart the following day.

The quotation for this trip is from Request Per Person

1. This price is for one person, based on a group of 2 adults sharing one standard double-bed room in a 4-star hotel and traveling with our private tour in low seasons. It will drop greatly if your group has 4 or more members.
2. This price is subject to change according to your traveling season, month and date. There may be huge price increasing during public Chinese holidays, school summer vacations, tourism peak seasons or some special dates. (China Public Holiday 2025 Schedule Released)
3. Other factors that may change the final tour price include group size, hotel class, tour activities, fluctuation of currency exchange rate, etc.
4. This price is based on exchange rate USD 1=RMB 7.00. The final price will be based on the exchange rate in effect at the time of agreement with our quotation.
5. This price is only valid to March 31, 2026.
6. This price is not the final price until the Confirmation Letter is sent.
