Terracotta Warriors and Horses
Xian North Railway Station
Address: Lijiajie Village, Weiyang District, Xian (西安市未央区李家街村 西安北站); about 20km to the downtown, 15km to Ancient City Wall and 50km to Terracotta Warriors.
Transportation: As the main railway station of Xian, Xian North Railway Station is well-connected with subway. If you want to transfer between Xian North Railway Station and your hotel in downtown area (or Ancient City Wall, Bell Tower, Muslim Quarter), taking metro Line 2 will be efficient. Guangyuan
Guangyuan is a city in northern Sichuan, about 300km to Chengdu. There are frequent daily high speed trains running between Xian and Guangyuan. Top attractions in Guangyuan include Jianmen Pass, Zhaohua Ancient City and Bright Moon Gorge which are also the highlights of Shudao and Three Kingoms cultural sites. Jianmen Pass holds such an important strategic status in China’s history that an old saying goes like that “The conquest of Jianmen Pass means the conquest of Sichuan”. Honored as No.1 Impregnable Pass, it is also a good place to seek for adventure and excitement. Flanked by over 8,000 vibrant cypresses, Cuiyun Corridor is a wonderful place to avoid the summer heat. Here you can enjoy many cypresses in various shapes. Besides, Guangyuan is also the hometown of Wu Zetian - the only empress in China. Visiting Huangze Temple, you can learn many stories about her.
Jianmen Pass

Address: Zetian Road, Lizhou District, Guangyuancity (四川省广元市利州区则天路 广元站); about 1km to Huangze Temple, about 10km to the downtown, about 60km to Jianmen Pass and about 65km to Cuiyun Corridor.
Transportation: It is quite easy to take a public bus from Guangyuan Railway Station to the downtown area. Since Huangze Temple is just close to the railway station, you can take a visit there firstly. Traveling to Jianmen Pass, it is available to take a train to Jianmenguan Railway Station firstly, and then take a bus to Jianmen Pass Scenic Area. You can also drive or take a taxi to Jianmen Pass and Cuiyun Corridor.
Langzhong
Langzhong, located in northeastern Sichuan, is an old city with a history of 2,000 years and rich culture of Three Kingdoms. With precious well-preserved architectures, Langzhong Ancient City is listed in “Four Ancient Cities in China”. It keeps its original features and has multiple places of interests. Temple of Marquis Huan (also called Zhang Fei Memorial Temple) is a memorial temple for Zhang Fei and it’s a good place to experience the culture of Shu Kingdom. In Examination House, you can learn about the old examination system for hundreds of years. You can also visit museum of Geomancy which explains the mysterious Geomancy. There also some interesting activities which can be admired, like Langzhong Lantern Drama, and Norther Sichuan Shadow Puppetry. Of course, don’t miss the local snacks, like Zhangfei Beef, Baoning Suppressive Wine and Sugar Steamed Bread, etc.
Note: Not all Xian Guiyang High Speed Trains will passes through Langzhong Ancient City.

Langzhong Railway Station
Address: Jinyinguan Village, Jiangnan Town, Langzhong City (四川省南充市阆中市江南镇金银观村 阆中站); about 5km to Langzhong Ancient City
Transportation: There is no available subway or public bus running from Langzhong Railway Station to Langzhong Ancient City directly. If you choose to go to the ancient city by bus, you need to walk to the surrounding bus stop. With taxi, you can transfer to Langzhong ancient city within 20 minutes.
Chongqing
Chongqing is called Mountain City because it is built on mountainous area. All the roads and buildings are built along with the terrain. There are many things to do in and around Chongqing City. You will get a fantastic opportunity to enjoy the cultural relics, stunning karst landscape and tasty Chongqing cuisine. Dazu Rock Carving, located in Dazu County of Chongqing, owns comparable reputation with top four grottoes in China. You can enjoy many delicately-carved statues and beautiful paintings. Visiting Wulong, you can admire beautiful Karst landscape in Longshuixia Gap, Furong Cave, Three Natural Bridges, etc. In fact, many travelers prefer take a luxurious Yangtze River cruise from Chongqing to Yichang and savor the stunning scenery of Yangtze River and Three Gorges. Some travelers also take an upstream cruise from Yichang to Chongqing and then explore the beautiful of Chongqing.

Address: No.168, Fengzhong Road, Shapingba District of Chongqing City (重庆市沙坪坝区凤中路168号 重庆西站); about 20km to downtown and about 20km to Chaotianmen Port.
Transportation: Since there is no available subway in Chongqing West Railway Station at present, you are suggested to call a taxi. Usually, it takes about 40 minutes to get to downtown and Chaotianmen Pier. Some construction activities adjacent to Chongqing West Railway Station are taking place, so it may take longer time to travel to/from Chongqing West Railway Station.

Guiyang
Guiyang is not a very popular tourist destination, but it still has some places for a visit. Jiaxiu Pavilion - Guiyang’s iconic landmark, is a triple-roofed pavilion perched atop a boulder. Constructed during Ming Dynasty, it contains many marble and impressive arts and calligraphies. Some people regarded Hongfu Temple hidden in Qinglingshan Park as Guiyang’s best attraction. Almost on the top of 1,300-meter high mountain, it can be reached via an 40 minutes’ walk or a cable car. If you seek for some respite from the city noise, just go to Cuiwei Park which features a restored temple with some well-designed pavilions.
As the Guizhou’s capital relatively developed transportation system and better hotels, Guiyang is usually regarded as a travel base for many nearby destinations of Guizhou, like Kaili, Anshun (Huangguoshu Waterfall) and Qiandongnan.

Address: East Jiaxiubei Road, Guanshanhu District, Northwest Guiyang City, Guizhou Province (贵州省贵阳市观山湖区甲秀北路东侧 - 贵阳北站); about 10km to downtown and Qianling Park, 15km to Jiaxiu Tower and 15km to Cuiwei Park.
Transportation: It is available to travel from/to Guiyang North Railway Station by public bus, taxi and urban rail transit. Usually you can get to Jiaxiu Tower within 30 minutes, Qianling Park within 40 minutes and Huaxi Scenic Resort within 40 minutes by driving.
Guiyang East Railway Station
Address: Near County Highway 138, Dairy Farm Area, Wudang District, Northeast Guiyang City, Guizhou Province (贵州省贵阳市乌当区奶牛场片区, 近138县道 - 贵阳东站); about 15km to downtown and Qianling Park, 20km to Jiaxiu Tower, 40km to Cuiwei Park
Transportation: There are available public buses from Guiyang East Railway Station to down town. Taking a taxi, you can get to Qianling Park within 30 minutes, Cuiwei Park and Jiaxiu Tower within 1 hour. So far, Guiyang North Railway Station is more recommended to take high speed trains for its better location, convenient transportation.

Tips for Booking and Taking Xian Guiyang High Speed Train
1. Seats choosing & price comparing
On Xian Guiyang high speed trains, there are three types of seats: the "Business Class Seats" like the first class seat in an aircraft and the most comfortable and expensive, with the price of 1228 ~ 1232RMB per person, the "First Class Seats" of the middle class of 409.5 ~ 410.5RMB per person and the "Second Class Seats" of the most economical class of 515.5RMB per person.

2. Booking & collect your bullet train ticket
To book a Xian Guiyang high speed train ticket, you could choose to book it at the official website: China Railway Customer Service Center or with a travel agency, also you could directly tell China Discovery to book the tickets for you. Besides, you could go to the Railway Station or Designated Ticket Offices to do that.
To collect your high speed train ticket, you could go to the railway station nearby, however, the Self-service Ticketing Machines are not serving foreign people. Besides, you can tell China Discovery to help you to do the collection, which only needs your passport information.

3. How to embark the bullet train?
1) Prepare your documents well (valid passport with China Visa); 2) Get to the right train station in advance; 3) Collect train tickets; 4) Read your train ticket; 5) Pass the security control; 6) Pass through Security & Luggage Checks; 7) Find the right waiting room; 8) Cross the ticket checking gate; 9) Get to the right platform; 10) Get on your train. Keep the ticket well, because the ticket will be checked again to leave the station after you get off.
