Xian Chongqing High Speed Train
Xian Chongqing High Speed Railway has been put into operation since December 6th, 2017, together with the Xian Chengdu High Speed Railway. This high speed train route, with a highest designing speed of 350km/h and a length of about 733km, cuts the railway transferring time between Xian (西安) and Chongqing (重庆) down into only about 5 hours. Compared to the normal trains of 9.5-11.5 hours, this new high speed rail of provides great news to local people and visitors.

Xian North Railway Station
Address: Lijiajie Village, Weiyang District, Xian (西安市未央区李家街村 西安北站); about 20km to the downtown, 15km to Ancient City Wall and 50km to Terracotta Warriors.
Transportation: Xian North Railway Station can be reached by metro Line 2, by which you can easily transfer between the hotel in the downtown and the railway station. Ancient City Wall, Bell Tower and Muslim Quarter are all close to the downtown. Guangyuan
Guangyuan (广元), located in northern Sichuan, is an important strategic city in the history. Many stories of Three Kingdoms took place in Guangyuan, so you can visit many historical sites, like Jianmen Pass, Cuiyun Corridor, Zhaohua Ancient City, etc. One top attraction around Guangyuan is Jianmen Pass, which is honored as the No.1 Impregnable Pass in the world. An old saying goes that the conquest of Jianmen Pass means the conquest of Sichuan. . Many people regard Cuiyun Corridor as a good shade from the hot summer. Guangyuan Railway Station
Address: Zetian Road, Lizhou District, Guangyuancity (四川省广元市利州区则天路 广元站); about 1km to Huangze Temple, about 10km to the downtown, about 60km to Jianmen Pass and about 65km to Cuiyun Corridor.
Transportation: Guangyuan Railway Station is not far from the city center of Guangyuan, so you can easily take a public bus to the downtown. Before that, you are suggested to take a short visit to Huangze Temple which is just 1km away. From Guangyuan Railway Station to Jianmen Pass, you take a high speed train or normal train to Jianmenguan Railway Station, and then take a public bus the Jianmen Pass.

Langzhong
Langzhong, with a history of over 2,000 years, is ancient city in northeastern Sichuan. Listed in the Four Great Ancient Cities in China with Lijian Ancient City, Pingyao Ancient City and Huizhou Ancient City, Langzhong Ancient City features in well-preserved flagstone streets, black-tile roofs, and memorial temples. Langzhong Ancient City is also a famous city of Fengshui (Geomantic Omen). It was constructed completely according to the astronomical theory and geomantic omens of the Tang Dynasty. Top attractions in Langzhong Ancient City include Zhang Fei Temple, Examination House, Museum of Geomancy and Zhongtian Tower. Visiting them, you can explore Fengshui Culture, Imperial Examinations and Three-kingdom culture and enjoy a bird’s eye-view of the whole city.

Address: Jinyinguan Village, Jiangnan Town, Langzhong City (四川省南充市阆中市江南镇金银观村 阆中站); about 5km to Langzhong Ancient City
Transportation: Since no available subway and public buses run between Langzhong Railway Station directly, you can transfer with a taxi to Langzhong Ancient Town directly. It takes only about 20 minutes.

Instead of Langzhong, some Xian Chongqing High Speed Trains pass through Chengdu – the land of abundance and the hometown to giant pandas. There are many relaxing teahouse culture and tasty local food to enjoy as well. Chengdu Panda Base is the hottest attraction in Chengdu. Try to visit the panda base in the morning and you can have a close contact with the most active pandas. Besides, Chengdu offers many things to do. If you want to experience the local life, have a walk in Renmin Park or Wangjianglou Park. If you are interested in the history and culture of Chengdu, you can visit Wuhou Temple and Jinsha Site Museum. If you like Sichuan food and snacks, you can turn to Sichuan Cuisine Museum and Jinli Old Street. You are also advised to watch Sichuan Opera which is quite interesting.

Chengdu East Railway Station
Address: Qingyijiang Rd, Chenghua District, Eastern Chengdu (成都市成华区青衣江路 - 成都东站); about 9km to downtown Chengdu, 18km to Giant Panda Base.
Transportation: Chengdu East Railway Station is equipped with very developed transportation system. By metro Line 2, you can get to Tianfu Square (city center) directly. With an easy transfer, you can get to Cheng Giant Panda Base easily as well. Besides, there are available public buses, taxies and airport shuttle buses.

Transportation: All high speed trains to or from Chongqing North Railway Station are operated by the North Square Station Hall. At present, there are two light rail lines passing through North Square of Chongqing North Railway Station, including Line 3 and Line 10. Both of them can bring you to the city center. Taking light rail Line 10, you can travel between the North Square of Chongqing North Railway Station and Chongqing Jiangbei Airport within 40 minutes conveniently. If you want to get to Chaotianmen Port, you are suggested to take a taxi.

1. Seats choosing & price comparing
On Xian Chongqing high speed trains, there are three types of seats: the "Business Class Seats" like the first class seat in an aircraft and the most comfortable and expensive, with the price of 838RMB per person for D-trains and 1227RMB for G-trains, the "First Class Seats" of the middle class of 452RMB per person for D-trains and 654.5RMB for G-trains, and the "Second Class Seats" of the most economical class of 281.5RMB per person for D-trains and 409RMB for G-trains.

2. Booking & collect your bullet train ticket
To book a Xian Chongqing high speed train ticket, you could choose to book it at the official website: China Railway Customer Service Center or with a travel agency, also you could directly tell China Discovery to book the tickets for you. Besides, you could go to the Railway Station or Designated Ticket Offices to do that.
To collect your high speed train ticket, you could go to the railway station nearby, however, the Self-service Ticketing Machines are not serving foreign people. Besides, you can tell China Discovery to help you to do the collection, which only needs your passport information.

3. How to embark the bullet train?
1) Prepare your documents well (valid passport with China Visa); 2) Get to the right train station in advance; 3) Collect train tickets; 4) Read your train ticket; 5) Pass the security control; 6) Pass through Security & Luggage Checks; 7) Find the right waiting room; 8) Cross the ticket checking gate; 9) Get to the right platform; 10) Get on your train. Keep the ticket well, because the ticket will be checked again to leave the station after you get off.
