Xian to Chengdu Train Schedules, Tickets and Stations

There is more than one choice of flying from Xian to Chengdu with speed. At present, every day, Xian has nearly 40 high speed trains departing for Chengdu. For only about 3-4.5 hours, you can disembark on the city land of Chengdu from Xian and start your encounter with this great tourist place in southwest China. And since the trains are operated from early morning at around 07:00 to late afternoon at around 19:00, you can start you go at any time.

Xian Chengdu High Speed Train Route

Xian Chengdu high speed railway has been officially put into use in December in 2017. Along this about 643 kilometers long route, there are totally 18 stops, including Xian North Station, Hanzhong Station, Guangyuan Station, Jianmenguan Station, Jiangyou North Station, Mianyang Station, Deyang Station, Guanghan Station, Chengdu East Station, etc. Therefore, you could not only get off in Chengdu after getting on in Xian, but also in other places to enjoy their own highlights with convenience. Xian North Railway Station (西安北站)

Location Yuanshuo Road, Weiyang District, Xian (西安市未央区元朔路).

This station is a large high speed train station of Xian, running over 300 high speed trains (about 87% of sum of Xian’s high speed trains) to Beijing, Shanghai, Chengdu, Chongqing, Lanzhou, Taiyuan and lots of domestic destinations. It is about 20 kilometers to downtown area and needs 1 hour’s ride to Terracotta Warriors, Muslim Quarter, etc. To get to the station, you can take airport bus from Xian Xianyang International Airport or take a taxi from anywhere you are. Chengdu East Railway Station (成都东站)

Location: Qingyijiang Road, Chenghua District, East Chengdu (成都市成华区青衣江路)

It is the main high speed railway station in Chengdu. It is about 95m (about 20 minutes' driving) to the downtown area and 23km (about 40 minutes' driving) to Chengdu Shuangliu Airport. Class of Ticket

On high speed trains from Xian to Chengdu, there are three kinds of tickets are provided, including Business Class Seat, First Class Seat and Second Class Seat. Second Class Seat is the most budget level you will share a row space with other passengers. First Class of Seat is more comfortable and quiet for those who prefer a good rest on the way. Book, Collect, Alter and Cancel

Foreign tourists can book train ticket online or ask help from ticket agency, or buy the tickets physically at the train station with your valid passport. One thing you should remember is to book the ticket as early as possible, especially in peak tourist seasons. After collecting the tickets, please read carefully about the train number, departure date and station to make sure you won’t miss the train.
