Xian to Beijing Train Schedules, Tickets and Stations
Xian is not only the home of Terracotta Warriors and starting point of Silk Road, but also occupies a major position connecting north and south, east and west China. Linked by Xian Chengdu High Speed Railway, Datong-Xian High Speed Railway and Zhengzhou-Xian High Speed Railway and so on, Xian operates about 400 high speed trains to domestic destinations, like Beijing, Shanghai, Chengdu, Mount Hua, Chongqing, Lanzhou, Guangzhou and other cities.
As an extended travel route, Xian sends a regular 17 high speed trains (all are G trains) from Xian North Railway Station to Beijing West Railway Station in Beijing every day. With a 4.5 hours to 6 hours’ relaxation on a comfortable train, your exploration trip of China’s ancient capitals will be fulfilled conveniently in an in-style way. G652 departing at 7:53am is the first train and G90 leaving at 18:24pm is the last train to Beijing.

Xian Beijing High Speed Train Route
The Xian Beijing High Speed Railway, 1,216km in length, starts from Xian North Railway Station and arrives at Beijing West Railway Station and spans 4 provinces and many midway stations. The two major stops must pass are Zhengzhou (郑州) in Henan Province and Shijiazhuang (石家庄) in Hebei Province. Based on different running lines, you may also stop at Mount Hua (华山), Luoyang (洛阳), Handan (邯郸) and Anyang (安阳). If you are interested in side trip to Mount Hua from Xian, you can take G672, G662, G660, G430, G574, G664, G308, G4016, G674 and G670 according to your schedule.
Xian North Railway Station (西安北站)
Location: Yuanshuo Road, Weiyang District, Xian (西安市未央区元朔路)
Xian North Railway Station is one of the largest and most important railway terminals in northwest China, running about326 high speed trains to major cities in China, such as Beijing, Shanghai, Chengdu, Chongqing, Lanzhou, Taiyuan and lots of domestic destinations. It is in Guangzhou Plain and linked by Xuzhou-Lanzhou High Speed Rail, Datong-Xian High Speed Rail, Xian-Chengdu High Speed Rail and etc. Lying in about 20 kilometers to downtown, 1 hour’s ride to Terracotta Warriors and Muslim Quarter, the train station can be reached by take airport bus from Xian Xianyang International Airport or by taking taxi from anywhere you are. Beijing South Railway Station (北京西站)
Location: No.118, East Lianhuachi Road, Fengtai District, Beijing (北京市丰台区莲花池东路118号)
Beijing West Railway Station is one of four major high speed train stations in Beijing, handling 285 daily trains (196 high speed trains and 89 normal slow trains) to cities nationwide, including Xian, Chengdu, Guangzhou, Chongqing, Guiyang. It is located about 1 hour’s driving to Beijing Capital International Airport and 25 mins to Palace Museum. This station is the departure station of Beijing Guangzhou High Speed Railway and Beijing Kowloon (Hong Kong) Railway and starting point of Beijing Lhasa (Tibet) trains. You can get to the station by taxi from anyplaces, or take the airport bus from Beijing Capital Airport. Metro Line 7 and Line 9 are available local transportation to transfer to downtown. Class of Ticket
On high speed trains from Xian to Beijing, there are three kinds of tickets are provided, including Business Class Seat, First Class Seat and Second Class Seat. Second Class Seat is the most budget level you will share a row space with other passengers. First Class of Seat is more comfortable and quiet for those who prefer a good rest on the way. Book, Collect, Alter and Cancel
Foreign tourists can book train ticket online or ask help from ticket agency, or buy the tickets physically at the train station with your valid passport. One thing you should remember is to book the ticket as early as possible, especially in peak tourist seasons. After collecting the tickets, please read carefully about the train number, departure date and station to make sure you won’t miss the train. 1) Prepare your documents well (valid passport with China Visa); 2) Get to the right train station in advance; 3) Collect train tickets; 4) Read your train ticket; 5) Pass the security control; 6) Pass through Security & Luggage Checks; 7) Find the right waiting room; 8) Cross the ticket checking gate; 9) Get to the right platform; 10) Get on your train. Baggage Allowance
