Shenzhen Guangzhou High Speed Train Route
Shenzhen Guangzhou high speed rail is measured about 111km (about 69 miles). It is built from Shenzhen Futian Railway Station to Guangzhou South Railway Station, via Guangmingcheng Railway Station, Humen Railway Station, and Qingsheng Railway Station, and Shenzhen North Railway Station, 4 stopovers in total. As different high speed trains have different arrangement of the stopovers, their running durations would be different. Shenzhen North Railway Station (深圳北站)
All Shenzhen to Guangzhou high speed trains would use this station. It is situated at No. 28 Middle Zhiyuan Road, Shenzhen, Guangdong (广东省深圳市致远中路28号 深圳北站). To transfer from the downtown or Shenzhen Museum, you could take the Metro Line 4 for about 25 minutes. And if you want to go from the tourist spots like the Window of the World, Splendid China, China Folk Culture Village, and Happy Valley of Shenzhen, just take the Line 1 and Line 4 for about 40-50 minutes. To transfer from Shenzhen Baoan Airport, you need to take the Metro Line 11 and Line 5 for about 50 minutes.
<Shenzhen Futian Railway Station (深圳福田站)
Some bullet trains depart from Futian Railway Station. It is situated at the intersection of 1st Fuhua Road and Yitian Road, Futian District, Shenzhen, Guangdong (广东省深圳市福田区福华一路与益田路交汇处 福田站). You could take the Metro Line 2 from the top popular sites like Window of the World, Splendid China, China Folk Culture Village, and Happy Valley of Shenzhen to get to the station for 35 minutes. You could also take the Metro Line 11 from Shenzhen Baoan Airport for about 45 minutes.

Guangzhou South Railway Station (广州南站)
It is used for most Shenzhen Guangzhou high speed trains, Guangzhou South Railway Station is situated at Shibi Street, Panyu District, Guangzhou City, Guangdong Province (广东省广州市番禺区石壁街道 广州南站). You can get most places by the convenient local metro line network. Usually, you could take the local Metro Line 2 for about 0.5 hours to the downtown to visit places like the Sun Yatsen Memorial Hall, Yue Xiu Park, Six Banyan Tree, etc. Also, you could take Line 2 and Line 1 to Ancestral Temple of the Chen Family for about 35 minutes, Line 2 and Line 6 to Shamian Island Scenic Area for about 50 minutes, Line 7 to Chimelong Safari Park for about 30 minutes, Line 7 and Line 3 to Canton Tower for about 35 minutes, Line 2 and Line 3 to Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport for about 1 hour and 10 minutes, etc.
Guangzhou North Railway Station (广州北站)
It serves for several G trains from Shenzhen to Guangzhou. It is situated at No. 1 Zhanqian Road, Huadu District, Guangzhou, Guangdong (广东省广州市花都区站前路1号 广州北站), and is a little farther away to the Guangzhou downtown and closer to Guangzhou Baiyun Airport. To the airport, you could take Metro Line 9 and Line 3 for about 40 minutes. To get to the city center in Yuexiu District, it usually takes about 1 hour and 20 minutes by the Line9, Line 3 and Line 2.

Class of Ticket
On high speed trains from Shenzhen to Guangzhou, there are three kinds of tickets are provided, including Business Class Seat, First Class Seat and Second Class Seat. Second Class Seat is the most budget level you will share a row space with other passengers. First Class of Seat is more comfortable and quiet for those who prefer a good rest on the way. Book, Collect, Alter and Cancel
For most high speed railway sections in China mainland, foreign tourists can book train ticket online or ask help from ticket agency, or buy the tickets physically at the train station with your valid passport. One thing you should remember is to book the ticket as early as possible, especially in peak tourist seasons. After collecting the tickets, please read carefully about the train number, departure date and station to make sure you won’t miss the train. 1) Prepare your documents well (valid passport with China Visa); 2) Get to the right train station in advance; 3) Collect train tickets; 4) Read your train ticket; 5) Pass the security control; 6) Pass through Security & Luggage Checks; 7) Find the right waiting room; 8) Cross the ticket checking gate; 9) Get to the right platform; 10) Get on your train.
