And the High Speed Trains arrive at Chengdu in the same day after departure (the last train will arrive at Chengdu at 23:23). The departure railway station may be Guilin Railway Station (桂林站) and Guilin West Railway Station (桂林西站) while all the trains will arrive at Chengdu East Railway Station (成都东站).

Guilin Chengdu High Speed Train Route

Guilin Chengdu High Speed Railway is a wonderful travel line filled with natural scenery, ethnic culture and traditional buildings. The travel time along the whole way varies from 6h 55m to 8h 11m. Guilin Railway Station

Location: Xiangshan District, Guilin, Guangxi (广西壮族自治区桂林市象山区 – 桂林站)

Guilin Railway Station located in the city center of Guilin. Travelers should pay particular attention to Guilin Railway Station and Guilin South Railway Station. They are not exactly the same railway station. The locals of Guilin commonly regard Guilin Railway Station as Guilin South Railway Station since the Guilin North Railway Station has been put into operation, while the real Guilin South Railway Station is only available for freight transportation. Three High Speed Trains will depart from Guilin Railway Station to Chengdu every day. 2 of them will depart in the morning (the earliest train from Guilin to Chengdu is included), while the rest one will depart in the early afternoon.

Guilin West Railway Station

Location: Dingjiang Villege, Dingjiang town, Lingchuan County, Guilin, Guangxi (桂林市灵川县定江镇定江村庄上村- 桂林西站)

Guilin West Railway Station located 11.8km far from the city center of Guilin. For travelers who want to take trains at Guilin West Railway Station, you can take the No. 22 and No.303 to get there from the city center. Among the 12 High Speed Trains travel from Guilin to Chengdu every day, 8 of them will depart from Guilin West Railway Station. The departure time of the 8 High Speed Trains varies from 10:28 to 16:00.

Chengdu East Railway Station

Location: No.4, Qingyijiang Road, Chenghua District, Chengdu, Sichuan (四川省成都市成华区青衣江路4号-成都东站)

Unlike Guilin Railway Station (桂林站) and Guilin West Railway Station (桂林西站) that have no metro lines covered, two metro lines including line 2 and line 7 are available for traveling around from Chengdu Eat Railway Station. By taking the convenient metros, travelers can get to all the scene spots within the center of Chengdu, including the panda base, Chunxi Road, Jinli Old Street, Kuan Zhai Alley, Jinsha Site Museum, Wenshu Temple, Qingyang Palace and etc. Chengdu East Railway Station is also the only arrival station for the High Speed Trains travel from Guilin. High Speed Train Tips

Class of Ticket

Usually, there are three kinds of tickets are provided on high speed train from Chengdu to Beijing, Business Class Seat, First Class Seat and Second Class Seat. Second Class Seat is the most budget level you will share a row space with other passengers. And the First Class of Seat is more comfortable and quiet for those who prefer a good rest on the way. Book, Collect, Alter and Cancel

Foreign tourists can book train ticket online or ask help from ticket agency, or buy the tickets physically at the train station with your valid passport. After collecting the tickets, please read carefully about the train number, departure date and station to make sure you won’t miss the train. Baggage Allowance
