Beijing Xian High Speed Train Route Map
Beijing Xian High Speed Rail is combined at Zhengzhou (郑州) by two major segments, north part of Beijing-Guangzhou High Speed Rail and Zheng-Xian High Speed Rail (middle section of Xuzhou-Lanzhou High Speed Rail). With a total length of 1,216km, it begins from Beijing, stretches south via Shijiazhuang of Hebei Province, Zhengzhou of Henan Province and then turns to a west transverse rail line to Xian in Shaanxi Province. Some routes will pass by the Luoyang (another ancient capital of China), so you may drop by to visit Buddhist cultural relics in Longmen Grottoes. Beijing West Railway Station (北京西站)
Beijing West Railway Station is located at No.118, East Lianhuachi Road, Fengtai District, West Beijing (北京市丰台区莲花池东路118号), about 1 hour’s driving to Beijing Capital Airport, 25 mins’ driving to Palace Museum. It is mainly served both for passenger service and freight transport, operating up to 200 high speed trains and nearly 100 normal trains every day. Linked by Beijing-Guangzhou High Speed Rail, the station runs high speed trains to Xian, Chengdu, Guangzhou, Chongqing, Guiyang, Lanzhou and cities along the route. You can take airport shuttle bus or taxi to get to Beijing Capital Airport, and transfer to downtown or tourist destinations through Metro Line 7 and Line 9. Xian North Railway Station (西安北站)
Xian North Railway Station is located at Yuanshuo Road, Weiyang District, North Xian (西安市未央区元朔路), about 20km to downtown, 1 hour’s driving to Terracotta Warriors and Muslim Quarter and 40 mins to Ancient City Wall. Put into use in 2011, the station is one of the major train stations in Northwest China, sending and receiving about 326 high speed trains on a daily basis. Because its location on Xuzhou-Lanzhou High Speed Railway, Dadong-Xian High Speed Railway, Xian-Chengdu High Speed Railway, Yinchuan-Xian High Speed Railway and Baotou-Xian High Speed Railway, passengers can take high speed train to Beijing, Shanghai, Chengdu, Chongqing, Lanzhou, Taiyuan and lots of destinations from here. Tourists can take daily airport buses to get to the station for 1 hour and 20 minutes, or take a taxi to there directly.
