There are two pairs of round-trip high speed trains (both are G trains) and a few irregular D bullet trains running between Beijing and Shenzhen. G71 train and G79 train departs from Beijing in the morning and arrives in Shenzhen in the afternoon while G72 and G80 trains also runs on the similar schedules in opposite route. G79 and G80 trains are the fastest trains of 8 hours and 45 minutes travel.

Beijing Shenzhen High Speed Railway is one of the busiest and longest high speed rail line linking Beijing and Shenzhen, crossing the north and south China. With a total length of 2,409 kilometers (1,497miles), the line departs from Beijing West Railway Station, and then goes southward to Futian in Guangdong Province via Shijiazhuang (Hebei Province), Zhengzhou (Henan Province), Wuhan (Hubei Province), Changsha (Hunan Province) and Guangzhou. The whole train journey needs about 9 hours to 11 hours. Most importantly, the Guangzhou-Shenzhen-Hong Kong high speed railway connected by Futian Railway Station is coming soon this year. Beijing West Railway Station (北京西站)
Beijing West Railway Station is located at No.118, East Lianhuachi Road, Fengtai District, Beijing (北京市丰台区莲花池东路118号), about 25mins’ driving to Forbidden City and 1 hour’s driving to Beijing Capital Airport. As one of the maon railway stations in Beijing, it serves both for traditional trains (Z, T, K trains) and advanced high speed trains on Beijing Guangzhou High Speed Railway, Beijing Kowloon (Hong Kong) Railway and Beijing Lhasa (Tibet) Railway. Roughly, the station delivers about 270 trains to nationwide cities, including nearly 200 high speed trains to Xian, Chengdu, Chongqing, Taiyuan, Kunming, Lanzhou, Wuhan, Zhengzhou, Changsha and etc. Tourists can get to the station by different transportation according to your demands, like taking a taxi, local bus, or Beijing subway (Metro Line 7 and Line 9), and airport shuttle bus from Beijing Capital International Airport. Shenzhen Futian Railway Station (深圳福田站)
Shenzhen Futian Railway Station is located at Yitian Road, Futian District, Shenzhen City, Guangdong Province (广东省深圳市福田区益田路), about 1 hour’s driving (60km) to Dapeng Ancient City Unit, 20mins’ driving (10km) to Happy Valley and Window of the World and 30mins’ driving (31km) to Shenzhen Baoan International Airport. Covering an area of 140,000 square meters with four platforms and 8 tracks, the station is the second largest underground railway station in the world after the New York Grand Central Station. The station was put into use in 2015, and now it serves as one of the five main train stations in Shenzhen, providing convenient connection for Guangzhou-Shenzhen-Hong Kong High Speed Railway. Currently, it runs about 85 high speed trains to Guangzhou, Beijing, Changsha and Hengyang, and some prefecture-level cities in Guangdong Provinces, like Foshan, Huizhou, Huaihua and so on. The station, located at central downtown area, is well connected with city bus, taxi and three subway lines (Metro Line 2, Line 3 and Line 11).
