A 1318-kilometers-long high speed railroad connects the two cities within half day train journey. Beijing South Railway Station (北京南站)
Beijing South Railway Station is located in No.12 Yongwai Avenue, Fengtai District, South Beijing (北京市丰台区永外大街12号), about 40km (1hr’s driving) to Beijing Capital International Airport & 8km (25mins’ driving) from Tiananmen Square. Shanghai Hongqiao Railway Station (上海虹桥站)
Shanghai Hongqiao Railway Station is located in No.1500, Shengui Road, Minhang District, West Shanghai (上海市闵行区申贵路1500号), next to Shanghai Hongqiao International Airport, about 40mins’ driving to Shanghai Museum, 45mins’ driving to Yuyuan Garden. You can take Metro Line 10 to Terminal 1 of Hongqiao Airport and walk 10 minutes to Terminal 2 from here. Meanwhile you may take a taxi for around 1 hour and 20 minutes to Shanghai Pudong Airport or take Metro Line 2 and transfer to Maglev Train. Shanghai Railway Station (上海站)
Shanghai Railway Station is located in No.303, Moling Road, Jingan District, North Shanghai (上海市静安区秣陵路303号), about 30mins’ driving to Shanghai Hongqiao Airport and 1hour’s driving to Shanghai Pudong Airport, and 15 mins to Shanghai Museum by taxi. You can take Metro Line 1, Line 3 and Line 4 from the station to transfer to downtown and other regions, or get to Shanghai Pudong Airport via airport shuttle bus.
