Zhengzhou Railway Station has well-developed public transport network, offering many city bus lines, one subway (Zhengzhou Metro Line 1) and taxis for you to transfer. Public transport is budget for independent travelers, but is time-consuming and complicated for first-time visitors, so it’s suggested to take a taxi or private transfer for the newcomers. The biggest advantage is its short distance to Zhengzhou Long-distance Bus Center Station next to its East Square. The bus station launches direct bus to Shaolin Temple and Luoyang within a few hours, and buses to Anyang, Jiaozuo, Pingdingshan, Xian and other surrounding cities.

Zhengzhou East Railway Station lies near the East Third Ring Road of Zhengzhou, also offering convenient taxi service, many city bus lines and two subways (Zhengzhou Metro Line 1 and Line 5). Besides, in the East Square, you can find Zhengzhou Bus Station (often called Zhengzhou High Speed Rail Hub Station 郑州高铁枢纽站) which has bus to Kaifeng, Jiaozuo, Shangqiu, Zhoukou and more cities in Eastern Henan.

Tips: The airport shuttle bus depart from Zone A, 1F, West Square of Zhengzhou East Railway Station to the airport, between 9:30 and 19:30 at every half an hour.

Zhengzhou Xinzheng Airport Railway Station is an intercity high speed rail station located in the GTC (Ground Transfer Center) of Terminal 2, Zhengzhou Xinzheng International Airport. Waiting hall is on the first floor underground and the departing area lies on the second floor underground. There are subways, airport shuttle bus, taxi, city bus and intercity trains you can take to transfer to downtown and connected cities. The intercity trains are the fastest and most recommended way to get from the airport to Zhengzhou Railway Station and Zhengzhou East Railway Station.

Zhengzhou West Railway Station is a small high speed train station in Zhengzhou which mainly serves trains on Xuzhou-Lanzhou High Speed Railway. It was officially put into operation in 2015 and has just 2 platforms and 4 rail tracks. Though you can take high speed trains to this station from Beijing, Xian, Guangzhou, Chengdu, Chongqing and most major Chinese cities, it’s less used for its remote location and inconvenient transport to downtown and main attractions nearby.

Nanyangzhai Railway Station is a railway station on Zhengzhou-Jiaozuo Intercity Railway and Beijing-Guangzhou Railway. It’s not big and only has 2 platforms and 6 rail tracks. The station just handles a few intercity trains between Jiaozuo and Zhengzhou Railway Station and Zhengzhou Xinzheng Airport Railway Station. Except the locals, almost no tourists use this train station for arrival and transfer.
