Gubei Water Town Offers a Modern Retreat at the Foot of History
Nestled at the foot of the Simatai Great Wall, Gubei Water Town serves as the northeast gateway to Beijing, situated 140 kilometers from the city center and 80 kilometers from Chengde City. Once an important military site, it attracted numerous scholars and hosted over three emperors during the Ming and Qing Dynasties.
Today, Gubei Water Town has transformed into a vibrant resort, drawing in photographers and food enthusiasts alike.
