The second best choice to visit Beijing is in spring (March to May) when everything comes back to life with pleasant weather. If you go in summer (June to August), be prepared that there will be lots of tourists especially in July and August because that’s when the Chinese students have their summer break, and many of them will choose to have a trip to Beijing.
