International Flights to Beijing | Helpful Beijing International Flights Arrival Guide and Tips
As one of the most popular destinations for both travel and business, Beijing can be arrived by flights from all around the globe. Currently, only the Capital International Airport (IATA:PEK) serves for international flights. It is located at Jichang West Rd, Chaoyang District, Beijing (北京朝阳区机场西路), about 28km (11mi) from Beijing downtown. Airlines from more than 55 foreign countries dock at PEK, and transport travelers to Beijing from almost all the capital cities and other important cities in the world, which make PECK the world's second busiest airport. The airlines of Europe and North America also offer direct nonstop flights to Beijing. Flights usually leave from Europe in the afternoon, and arrive at PEK in the morning. The flight times are a bit longer if you fly to Beijing from US, ranging from 11 to 14 hours. The flight schedules to Beijing from Asian countries, such as Tokyo, Seoul, Singapore, Manila, Hong Kong, etc., are very frequent. Since the flight schedule changes from time to time, please do not hesitate to contact us for more detailed information.
Beijing is planning to put another new airport - Beijing Daxing International Airport which is bigger and modern than PEK into use in September, 2019 when more and more international flights will be operated to Beijing.

How to Transfer from Beijing Airports
Beijing Capital International Airport provides a fully connecting transportation system that allows passengers to transfer to Beijing downtown and nearby places. Beijing Daxing International Airport is Beijing’s second international airport. It’s much big in scale and highly advanced in techniques. It is linked with northern China’s other modes of transportation, such as high speed rail, highway, subway, etc.
How to Get to Beijing Downtown
Beijing Capital Airport is 25.35 km away from Tiananmen Square, the center of Beijing. The most efficient way to get to downtown is taxi. You can easily find taxis queuing up outside the arrival halls of T1, T2, T3. But only take the legal taxis which have licenses. It takes about 30~60mins to get to the city center area of Beijing by taxi, and costs around CNY 80~120. Taking Airport Express (subway) is another good option, but it only has two stops in downtown – Dongzhimen (东直门) and Sanyuanqiao (三元桥). Shuttle buses are also available, with many different districts, commercial centers and railway stations of Beijing.
Generally, there are 9 daily high speed trains running from Beijing Daxing Airport to Beijing West Railway Station, with a duration of 21 minutes. The earliest train departs at around 07:30 and the last train departs around 17:20. As you reach Beijing West Railway Station, you can easily travel around by metro, taxi or bus. To get to Tiananmen Square and Forbidden City (about 8 km away from Beijing West Railway Station), you can take metro Line 7 at Beijing West Railway Station, then transfer to Line 1 (Batong Line) at Military Museum Station and finally walk about 700 meters to Tiananmen Square.
