How to Travel from Beijing to Harbin

Harbin Taiping International Airport (IATA: HRB) is the main airport served in Harbin and surrounding cities. It is located in about 40km away from southwest of the city of Harbin and it takes about 45 minutes' driving. There is no metro line passing through the airport till now, so you can only take airport express and public bus or call a taxi. Harbin Taiping International Airport operates domestic flights to most major cities, including Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Xian, Chengdu, Zhengzhou, Hangzhou, Changsha, as well as regional flights to Hong Kong and Taibai. Besides, Harbin is also connected with some cities in Russia, Thailand, Korea and Japan.

Beijing South Railway Station (Beijingnan Railway Station, 北京南站)

Location: No.12, Yongwai Avenue, Fengtai District, South Beijing (北京市丰台区永外大街12号)

Beijing South Railway Station is the largest and one of the busiest railway stations served in Beijing. It is about 7km (about 30 minutes' driving) away to Beijing city center (Tiananmen Square) and 40km (about 1 hour's driving) away to Beijing Capital International Airport. It can be reached by metro Line 4 and Line 14. You can also take several buses or call a taxi to get there. Beijing Railway Station (北京站)

Beijing Railway Station is an old railway station with a history of more than 100 years. Harbin West Railway Station (Harbinxi Railway Station, 哈尔滨西站)

Location: No. 501, Harbin Street, Nangang District, Harbin City(哈尔滨南岗区哈尔滨大街501号)

Harbin West Railway Station is located in southern area of Harbin City, about 30 minutes' driving to Harbin Ice and Snow World and Harbin Taiping International Airport. It is available to get to Harbin by metro Line 3, public bus or taxi. As the first high speed railway station in Heilongjiang Province, Harbin West Railway Station handles about 400 trains one day. There are daily high speed trains to lots of cities, including Beijing, Shanghai, Hangzhou, Nanjing, Guangzhou, Qingdao, etc.

Harbin Railway Station (哈尔滨站)

Location: (Junction of Digong Street and Jihong Street) No.1, Tielu Street, Nangang District, Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province (黑龙江省哈尔滨市南岗区铁路街1号)

Harbin Railway Station is a big railway hub in Heilongjiang as well. It is about 2km away from Harbin Ice and Snow World and 40km away from Harbin Taiping Airport. This railway Station is connected with metro Line 1 and some other public buses. It mainly operates high speed D-trains to Beijing and some other prefecture-level cities in Heilongjiang Province.
